By coming here, the entire rest of my day was ruined. I decided to give this place a try due to its high reviews, convenient location and delicious menu options. Got the $10 combo deal and a drink, which was a black sesame latte. There was hardly any taste of black sesame, it just tasted of bitter coffee. Maybe that’s the point (I don’t drink coffee that much), but I was expecting it to look black like what you’d see when you search up black sesame latte online. I tried to enjoy it but it was not as good as I hoped. The worst part was it tasted a lot like what a normal cup of coffee would taste like. Eventually I started to feel really sick from it and this has never happened to me before (I’ve had a regular latte before elsewhere and a bigger portion too). It was just one cup and it gave me the worst feeling of nausea ever. I suffered for more than a week with abnormal heart rate and stomach issues. I had no appetite everyday and was scared to eat in case I felt nauseous again. Here’s what I think happened: the server (only one person was working that day) made my drink while talking to her friend on the phone. She was probably distracted and put too much caffeine in my drink. This is a serious problem if it is true, because caffeine intoxication can lead to death. I felt so much pain after I left the cafe I couldn’t even stand up or sit up straight without feeling nauseous. I had no choice but to move sooner or later because I had to use the washroom very often (much too often). My bladder was hurting, perhaps it was because of my posture, leaning forward for hours. I thought the feeling would go away after some time but it lasted a good day (direct symptoms). I couldn’t even go to work the next day. I really regret coming here. The food was average at best, service was very slow (went with someone else but we were one of the first ones there out of like 2-3 ppl) but server was decent in terms of greeting and welcoming. Other than that, I really hope, if what I’m saying is correct, that she learns to focus on her task and make things right. A small mistake can really kill someone if you’re...

First time Customer alert ⚠️ 📢

Tried this cute small store for their waffles and drink after work. Had their waffle deal where you pick 2 waffles. We picked the Chocolate and Matcha Waffles 🧇 Drink: Fairy Rose Milk Tea Cold and Vanilla Lavendar Lattee Cold The store was quite open concept and had decent music on.

Pros: Won't be a bad place to study, but it has limited seats overall. Probably roughly 10 tables 📖 Waffle was really yummy, I personally liked the Matcha since it was nice and fluffy, and if you look at my photo, you can see the waffle texture. 🧇 My partner liked the chocolate waffle, which had bits of chocolate pieces. Both waffles weren't sweet, which really made it worth it for us.👌👍 The Fairy Rose Milk Tea, I liked it as I could taste the rose flavoring, but my partner didn't like much as it was more milky. If you like milky with rose flavoring, then give it a try ~

Improvements/comments:

I think investing in menu per table would be better as people can sit and order. The reason for this is that guest can order whole sitting and can add onto their overall order. Instead of paying right at the door with the TV menu. My partner and I would have been more inclined to order another batch of waffles if we hadn't paid beforehand. There was only 1 person during this time, and maybe it would be hard to do this, but the likely of someone ordering more is easier than paying everything first, in my opinion. The chairs are okay. If you are wearing shorts, just pick another chair as it can cause lines on your back legs.

Overall, I won't mind going back again and would recommend trying the place out...

I gotta get this out of the way, 10/10. Best café that I’ve ever been to. I appreciate how cozy and homey it is, granted it is a small business and not that popular so of course it’s gonna feel more quiet and relaxing than something like Starbucks. But also because it’s not as popular I feel like they take more time and care into their food and drinks since they’re not hustling with all these constant orders, which is great. They’re not super slow with their orders either; the service is really great. More about the homey atmosphere; I might be biased since I’m a Christian, but the Bible verses plastered throughout the café are very encouraging to me and honestly make me feel more at home. Even the name of the café itself… Milk and Honey… they knew what they were doing when they named it that. But even if you’re not a Christian, I highly recommend this atmosphere. It’s really something amazing.

I got the chicken and wrap + daily soup combo, as well as the rich hot chocolate. And my goodness, the taste was phenomenal!! The homemade soup was my favourite, it reminds me of the soup that my mom would make whenever I got sick or had a sore throat. And they’re not kidding when they say the hot chocolate is R I C H. This is coming from someone who doesn’t often buy from cafés because of the prices, it’s so worth spending your money here!! Trust me I was reluctant to spend money here before coming but my friend convinced me that it’s good to support this small business, and the quality of the food did not disappoint. Again, 10/10. I would honestly be a regular if I didn’t live so far. But I will definitely keep coming back...

A Nice, quaint, little cafe in a quiet neighbourhood at Champlain crescent. Truly a hidden gem. We ordered the Lemongrass Chicken Waffle and the Apple Peach Vanilla Ice cream waffle. This is one of the best Waffles we had in Vancouver. Everything was fresh and delicious. The waffles are light, fluffy and absolutely delicious. The lemongrass chicken waffle came with a side of salad with a dressing which was delicious. The chicken was flavourful , juicy and cooked to perfection. The peach apple icecream waffle the fruits were fresh and the sauce was mouthwatering. It was an absolute delightful Sunday morning. Sunday well spent. A special mention about the owner and the staff. The owner and the staff go all out of their way to ensure you get a good service. Very friendly and very efficient. Highly recommend this and we will be visiting this very often.
