Let's get one thing straight: Momo Sushi isn't just a restaurant; it's a pilgrimage site for sushi connoisseurs. The moment you step through the door, you're transported to a serene oasis of soy sauce and wasabi. Our gracious host, Sunny, welcomed us with a smile that could melt even the coldest heart of a sushi hater (if such a creature exists). She guided us to a cozy corner, perfect for indulging in our impending seafood feast. The miso soup was a warm hug on a cold day, and the salad was a crisp, refreshing prelude to the main event. But let's talk about the star of the show: the Box D. Packed with succulent beef and other delectable delights, it was a symphony of flavors in every bite. The nigiri and sashimi were so fresh, they seemed to be waving hello from the ocean. In conclusion, Momo Sushi is not just a restaurant; it's an experience. It's a place where you can savor every bite, knowing that you're indulging in culinary perfection. And if you're lucky, you might even get a high-five from the sushi chef. So, what are you waiting for? Get your chopsticks ready and prepare to have your taste buds tantalized.

This gem had been on my Vancouver bucket list since 2022, and missing out on my last trip only built up the anticipation. Let me tell you—it was worth every minute of the 2-year wait! **Wait Time** They don’t take reservations, so we put our names down when we arrived. To our surprise, the host estimated only a 20-minute wait. We killed time exploring the cute nearby souvenir shops. When we got back exactly at 7, we were seated right away. The wait staff were super friendly and attentive. **Food** Our food order was ✨ambitious✨ but we have zero regrets. We started with karaage, gyoza, and assorted tempura, then went all-in with the 74-piece party tray. Everything was delicious—the tuna, in particular, was incredibly fresh and practically melted in our mouths. The assorted tempura was a hit with its variety. The menu has something for everyone, which is great if your group has mixed tastes. Whether you're into sushi or prefer hot Japanese dishes, they’ve got you covered. Absolutely recommend this spot. It's definitely on my must-visit list for every Vancouver trip.

The restaurant itself was very cozy and small, if not just a tad bit cramped when sitting at one of the smaller tables- be prepared to bring at least a party of 3 to be seated at a booth unless you want to negotiate with them. It was separated into 3 small rooms, the main one has a nice bar with a see-thru counter to watch the cooks prepare your food while you waited. The food comes in big portions for a small price, and for the most part was good. The sushi was the best part, but the tempura and the chicken inside of the box I ordered were cold like they had been in a fridge. This is a good place to go to if you want sushi, everything else is mediocre. The waiters were running around most of the time, but managed to get refills down and bring food in a decent amount of time for the most part. The waiters were all very friendly and double checked after taking the order to make sure they got everything right.

I always go to this place maybe 2 times a week and went there today after eating half of my bowl found a hair in my bowl and told the server about it they first said okay and said she will give me a new bowl to go and went to the kitchen but then the server came back and while looking at my hair she said our chef has short hair and this is not for him so I said it’s not mine too cause the hair color and length of it was completely different with mine , she said okay and went to the kitchen again another server same came to my table and said the same thing about the chef having short hair, and at this point I told them I don’t want the new bowl anymore and she said I’ll give you a discount but it’s not the chef’s hair like I’m lying! She gave me a 50% discount and I didn’t give them any Tip cause the way they reacted then I went to talk with the manager and there was no manager so I talked with the server and told them that I go there a lot in respond she said yeah I remember you you get BC roll always which is not true and I felt that she also said that to tell me that I get cheap stuff and did this on purpose she said she’s sorry but she again explained that the chef hair is short ( all the servers had long hair though)! I’ve tried so many things in this restaurant and always tipped them except the last time cause the server didn’t pay attention to me at all and I waited a lot to get my bill. And this time it was even worst! Felt so bad and won’t go there anymore ! terrible ...

I went there to go check the sushi, i was with my son with the stroller. My sister is inside and i was calling her, then the lady at front told me right away that no stroller inside, which i I understood because its a lot of stairs, and i thought the lady was concern that i might slip or something. My sister decided to move at front and ask the lady if they can move because i cant be able to go down because of my son’s stroller, the lady right away replied “no you can’t eat at front its only for take out customers ” i was so surprise that no one was eating there that time and she knows im having a hard time because of my stroller, and my sister asked again if they can move outside the patio so i can park my stroller somewhere, but then she said “no its only for take out customers “ and there’s no people outside the patio. i didnt get the point were you cant eat outside even you order for them. Also, i was already struggling. So i went outside, i just sit there to wait, the lady keeps staring at me and tgat made me so uncomfortable that i ended up leaving without eating. They should accommodate customers especially with baby or kids. Customer...
