It’s a build-your-own Tex-Mex joint, Chipotle-style. What distinguishes this one is the variety of protein choices and different sauces/dressings. Some good vegan options. In my picture you’ll see that they added the lettuce last, which wasn’t the prettiest way to do it, but my bowl tasted better than it looked. The marinated tofu was good. Quality of the other ingredients was okay - not pristinely fresh, not too far past peak either - comparable with Chipotle. Prices are pretty decent for the size - about $12 for the bowl. The eating space in the restaurant was clean. Nothing to remark on about the service, which is fine.

Unfortunately, the trend continues. Another establishment pretending to serve "Mexican" food, but obviously closer to Tex-Mex, or in this case Denver-Mex(?). Isn't this false advertising? It shouldn't be that hard! If we are talking tacos, we know it's the best finger food! Simple to prepare, but only if you know how. And, tacos are CHEAP! But, "Burrito bowls"?...Really?... Remember, guacamole doesn't make anything Mexican... It will be interesting to see how this place holds up against a "real" taquería that just recently opened in the area!...

waiting time was extremely high while it was 10:00 PM and they had nothing to do, but they didn't make my order till 20 minutes the curb in the shift she was leaving so tell her shift finished. She was here for more than 15 minutes and did nothing. There was no other person in the restaurant so I was the only person here waiting for them. The guy came to the front after 15 minutes he even didn't know I was there because she didn't tell him to make my tacos he did it fast but it took 20 minutes me to go out

I had a very frustrating experience picking up my online order on Monday, July 7, at around 10:15 PM.

When I arrived, there was no one at the counter for at least 2–3 minutes. Once a staff member finally came out, I let her know I had placed an online order. She immediately said she didn’t have any such order. Then she glanced at her tablet and claimed that my order was scheduled for 10:36 PM, and I’d have to wait 20 minutes for it to be received before they could start preparing it.

It was clear she wasn't being truthful. I could see the tablet screen from where I stood, and she hadn't checked anything properly when making that claim. A number of delivery drivers came in after me, and she told all of them the same thing—15 to 20 minutes wait.

I even offered to show her my order details on my app or tell her the items so she could begin prepping it. She flat-out refused, repeating that nothing could be done until the system "received the order."

Meanwhile, I watched her complete two DoorDash orders, one Uber Eats order, and serve a couple who arrived after me. After all of that, she suddenly said, “I just received your order now,” which was obviously not true since I had been watching the screen the entire time.

When I called her out on the dishonesty and told her I wouldn’t have minded waiting if she had just been upfront, she started making excuses. I asked for her name and her manager’s name, and she refused to provide either.

I rarely leave bad reviews like this, but the way I was treated—as if my time didn’t matter, and with a complete lack of respect or honesty—was unacceptable. If management is reading this, I hope you’ll take steps to improve your staff’s customer service and...

My second time with this restaurant, getting the nachos is my first time. First time reviewing. I paid $13 for this size of nachos, which is overpriced compared to other restaurants where I'm paying $13 and it's a larger price and a lot of restaurants also include your protein with that here they didn't. Aside from that they tasted fine it was fresh it was extremely quick, but what they can work on is layering the cheese and layering the vegetables. Because the cheese in the veggies are only hitting the top layer of chips. The middle and bottom layer of chips are completely plain.

I just tried a bunch of other stuff like their tacos and their soup and the burrito. All of which again phenomenal and the price is out of this world it's great. A major however though, unless it was a mix-up, and we put the wrong salsa in the wrong container, I asked for no spicy sauce, mild salsa, but what I got what's scorching spicy!

So just be careful when ordering anything with mild cuz if it wasn't a mistake then they're mild is insanely spicy. And I can only imagine what the actual spicy...

There seems to be plenty of burritos and tacos places in Kitsilano. Most of them are similar to each other with the difference being the price and authenticity. There are a few authentic Mexican places, but others like Quesada are not. However the food at Quesada is tasty and reasonably priced. Not quite the Mexican flavor you will expect at an authentic Mexican restaurant but good enough in a pinch. The food prepares are East Indian and do a great job of making a good burrito and are friendly in the process. The meats are flavorful. I ordered the spicy chicken and my wife ordered the crispy chicken. I don't remember the actual name of the crispy chicken but my wife said it was tasty. They also have what they call the drunken chicken which I assumed was like Jamaican jerky chicken. They have other kinds of meat as well. I would label Quesada as a Mexican/Canadian food restaurant as most other burrito places are.

I recommend Quesada for a good fast food meal but if you are looking for Mexican authenticity you will not...
