Prices are insane!! This isn’t inflation as I went to another sushi restaurant a few blocks away and paid 50% less for better quality. Definitely won’t be back. They used to be reasonable but have almost doubled their prices. It’s $10 for ONE very average 6 piece salmon and mango roll. $8 for a totally basic salmon roll. All of their special rolls are a minimum of $15, closer to $20 EACH. This is greed-flation, and I don’t support businesses that do this. It doesn’t even taste good… Also they serve their tea in an IKEA cup which burns your hand as there is no handles. For these prices, I expect a cup that doesn’t scald you… lol Last complaint.. it was playing pretty hardcore and aggressive rap in the restaurant with not “nice” words… I get everyone has their own taste in music, but this is a place of business and I don’t really appreciate having to listen to some disturbing messages in the music when I’m trying to have a relaxing meal in the middle of the afternoon. The whole vibe was just really off. Seriously, come on guys…

We went to use our Groupon for 'Waterfall Sushi', and the address and sign at the front door says we are at the right place. Very kind people working there, but after displaying my 'view my voucher' I was told that the place is now called Hanabi Sushi and that I could not use the Groupon. We decided to stay anyway to try the place out. The sushi was straight up not good. Despite being very hungry, I could barely eat any of it. The deep fried prawn from the dynamite roll was cold and definitely not freshly made. We were one of two pairs in the restaurant and the food took a little while to prepare, which is not a big deal but sadly the microwave was going non-stop. We ordered a mango avocado roll and the mango was well past it's best before date, it had a brown appearance and overly mushy texture. The California roll/dynamite combo cost $14, and both rolls were huge and filled with way too much fake crab meat. Will not be back :(.

This place is a hidden gem! The interior is clean and welcoming, and dining on the patio under the sunlight is absolutely delightful. I’ll definitely sit on the patio next time! We ordered the Salmon Oshi and Beef Yakisoba. The plating was beautifully done with care. The seasoning was perfectly balanced—not too strong—and everything was delicious. The portions are larger than most other places! Soooooooo fullllllllll !! The oshi was incredibly fresh, and the rice was flavorful. The yakisoba had a great variety of vegetables, making it fun to pick and enjoy each bite. There was plenty of beef too! It seems the restaurant is under new management, and the service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. You can really feel they care. I will absolutely come back !!!!

I struggled for a while whether I should post on here, but finally decided to do so because I really want the owner of this restaurant to see this. I have visited this Japanese restaurant for 4 times within this month because I was working nearby and it's the only restaurant that's reasonably priced and has a good menu. The food was good, usually with nice presentation. However the service provided was really weird. The first time I walked in, the staffs were sleeping. Yes, more than one were. I was confused was it closed, but it's not. And for all of my visits, they were never attentive. They never walk around the restaurant to see who's ready to order. They never check how's my food. I always have to walk to the other side of the restaurant to ask for the bill/if I need anything. I really do not want to tip in this situation because basically no service is provided. I hope the restaurant owner can provide some...
