A Hidden Gem Serving Unique Thai Delights in Vancouver

Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at a charming Thai restaurant in Vancouver that truly stands out from the crowd. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by friendly staff who were attentive and genuinely caring throughout the meal, making the dining experience delightful.

The menu offers an impressive variety of dishes, including some that you won't typically find in other Thai restaurants around the city. What struck me most was not just the uniqueness of the menu but also the quality and portion sizes of the meals, which are well worth the price. Each dish was flavorful and well-presented, showcasing the authenticity and skill of the kitchen.

A standout feature of this restaurant is the efficiency in service. The food arrived incredibly fast, which was impressive and appreciated during a busy lunch rush.

For anyone visiting this restaurant, I highly recommend trying the "Kao Yum Gai Zab" and "Nam Tok Kor Moo." The Kao Yum Gai Zab, a vibrant and aromatic Eastern Thai dish, is a rare find in Vancouver and offers a burst of flavors that are both refreshing and satisfying. The Nam Tok Kor Moo, a spicy pork neck salad, perfectly balances spice with the smokiness of grilled meat, making it a must-try for lovers of Thai cuisine.

Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to explore genuine Thai flavors in a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Thai food or just exploring, this spot will surely impress with its unique dishes and...

Having recently dined at Thai ni yom. I must say the experience was outstanding. The Thai Northern East cuisine they offer truly encapsulates authentic flavors that resonate well with my taste buds. Not only was the food exceptional, but the prices were reasonable, adding immense value to the dining experience.

I would like to recommend the nam tok kor moo or grilled pork jowls salad eat with sticky, it was amazing. The stir fried gai lan with crispy pork belly is so yummy. My favorite dish would say the papaya salad or som tum pla ra that make with the fermented fish sauce in thia style.

The transition to new ownership has been a game-changer; the revamped menu reflects innovation and quality. The cozy ambiance of the restaurant provided a comfortable setting for a delightful meal. The staff members were incredibly friendly, enhancing the overall atmosphere with their warm hospitality.

Furthermore, I was thoroughly impressed with the amazing service. It’s evident that the changes made, especially with the new owner and menu, have elevated thai ni yom restaurant to another level. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for an authentic Thai dining experience coupled with great service and a welcoming...

This place has rave reviews and came highly recommended, so we were incredibly disappointed with the results.

This place loses most of its points in value, with portion sizes being incredibly small on incredibly expensive dishes. You would think paying close to $30 for a curry would have rice included, but alas it is an extra $4.00 for about $0.15 worth of rice.

Some of the dishes were major hits: The Drunken noodle was fantastic, but both the curries had wayyyy too much fish sauce, and the beef in the panang was incredibly chewy and fishy as if it had aged too long, and we ended up picking it out and throwing it all away. Again, with a $25 price and a $4 up charge for beef, you don't expect pieces of sinue that you cannot even bite through.

All in all, it was $120 (before any delivery fees or tips) for a mediocre curry, a bad curry, a two-bite roti appetizer, a noodle dish, and a small portion of...

We recently dined at this Thai restaurant and tried the Pad Thai, pork belly, and Tom Yum soup. While the dishes were generally tasty, we found that they lacked the depth of flavors and layers of spices that we usually expect from authentic Thai cuisine. It's a bit disappointing, especially for the Tom Yum soup, which typically bursts with a mix of spicy, sour, and aromatic notes. However, the overall experience was still pleasant. The staff was very warm and welcoming, which added a nice touch to our meal. The restaurant's ambiance was charming, and we especially loved the cute and thoughtfully chosen tableware. It’s a lovely spot to dine in, even if the food could use a bit more complexity in flavor.
