I recently visited this pho restaurant and had a genuinely good experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxed. It’s not overly fancy or trying too hard—just a clean, comfortable spot that lets the food speak for itself. The pho itself was satisfying. The broth had a rich, deep flavor that showed it had been simmered properly, not rushed like in some places. It wasn’t overly salty, and the spices were balanced well. The noodles were cooked just right—not too soft, not too firm—and the meat was tender and fresh. I appreciated the generous plate of fresh herbs, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeños that came on the side, allowing me to customize my bowl exactly how I like it.
The service was good overall. Staff were polite, attentive when needed, and efficient without being overbearing. They made sure the tables were clean, waters were refilled without having to ask, and food came out in a reasonable time. Nothing fancy or above-and-beyond, but definitely solid and dependable service.
The pricing was very fair, especially considering the portion size and quality of ingredients. It felt like good value for money, which is always a plus these days.
If I had to point out anything, it would be that the experience wasn’t particularly memorable—nothing that absolutely wowed me or made it feel like a “must-visit” destination. But honestly, not every meal needs to be over the top. Sometimes you just want a comforting, reliable bowl of pho, and this place absolutely delivers that.
Overall, a great spot if you're looking for good, honest Vietnamese food without any unnecessary frills. I’ll definitely be back when I'm craving a hearty...

It's a classic long standing chain Vietnamese diner specializing in beef noodle soup. They also have rice dishes and Northern Vietnamese noodle soup.
I find that their broth and flavors in general are a little bit lacking compared to the other spots. However, their noodle size is good and I was happy with a small size bowl. I was happy with the amount of toppings.
They make their spring rolls here with egg roll wrapper instead of rice paper wrapper.
Overall the taste was so so and I don't think I would be coming back here again. I used to go here a lot especially when the prices were lower for a nice hot meal. But I understand given the inflation and basically every restaurant has increased the prices as of 2022. I didn't expect any meaningful service as this is a classic chain diner and the communication only exists for order taking.
They did renovate and made the restaurant nicer with nicer tables, and the washroom is clean...
Read moreI ordered a spring roll vermicelli and asked for no bean sprout, the noodle came out super hard and there were bean sprouts inside. I told the server and ask for just the new bowl of noodle only as I was eating the spring roll, he took away my bowl and then came back really fast with a hot steaming of vermicelli. The vermicelli suppose to be served cold, and the previous one was so hard that I felt like they are over night or store in fridge for hours. They kinda rebuild my new bowl because I can tell some piece of spring roll was missing which I ate, but I was hoping they just bring me a new bowl of just noodle instead of take away my old bowl while I was eating the spring roll. Also while I was eating some hot vermicelli, I found a tiny piece of bright blue thing on noodle, looks like piece of those vinyl gloves. I didn’t confront as I was not happy with their food and service anyway. There were definitely some attitude and not so nice service and I have been to thaison for years and now I probably won’t go back again with the food quality and service, there are so many better Vietnamese...
