As Vancouver’s By-Election Security Supervisor for the City of Vancouver, I often visit different locations across the city, and I must say, my experience at Tim Hortons (701 SE Marine Drive) has been outstanding.
Having previously avoided Tim Hortons locations in Surrey and Vancouver due to poor customer service and lack of communication, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service at this particular location. I would like to take a moment to recognize two outstanding employees—Jaswinder and Sahib—who consistently provide excellent customer service.
Both Jaswinder and Sahib serve every customer with a smile, ensuring accuracy in order-taking and preparation. Their attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction set them apart. Jaswinder once recommended a customized grilled cheese melt, which has since become my go-to order. Sahib has also gone above and beyond by personally delivering my drink to my table when I was busy eating—a small gesture that speaks volumes about his commitment to great service.
While Tim Hortons' policies may not allow me to leave a tip, I hope both Jaswinder and Sahib receive the recognition they truly deserve from customers and management alike. Their hard work and positive attitude make this location stand out, and I highly recommend visiting this Tim Hortons for a consistently great experience.
Thank you, Jaswinder and Sahib, for your...
Read moreThis Tim Hortons is a cozy little spot with all the usual suspects: hot coffee, fresh donuts, and a steady stream of people who look like they’ve just come from hockey practice or a secret maple syrup negotiation. The staff are friendly and only slightly suspicious of why I keep ordering ten Timbits and naming each one before eating it.
The iced capp was strong enough to wake me up and briefly send me back in time to 2011, which was a nice surprise. The Boston Cream had just the right amount of filling—enough to enjoy, but not so much that it becomes sentient.
Seating was comfortable, though I do wish they would address the mysterious third booth that only appears at 3:14 p.m. sharp and smells faintly of beavers. Wi-Fi was solid, except for that one moment when it tried to connect me to something called “The Donut Mainframe.” I declined, for now.
All in all, a great place to grab a coffee, catch up with friends, or decode an ancient message hidden in the pattern of spilled sugar packets. I’ll definitely be back—unless the muffins achieve full consciousness by...
Read moreHi, i work nearby and often stop by your restaurant around 6–7 pm to grab a snack. Most of the time, I order the Chicken Lime Loaded Wrap and potato wedges. On multiple visits, I’ve been served by Sahej, and I was told that rice was out of stock and that potato wedges would take 15–20 minutes.
I find it surprising that a place like Tim Hortons frequently runs out of items during evening hours, especially since the posted closing time is 11 pm. I also noticed staff cleaning and preparing food at the same time, which made me feel that service was being rushed.
Additionally, the wrap I order is often not grilled, even though it’s supposed to be. This makes the overall experience disappointing.
I kindly request that you look into this matter. As a regular customer, I value good service, and I hope to see improvements in stock availability and preparation...
