SO SO experience.

Went in for the first time and purchased Lemon breaded Chicken and some other food.

Walked in with no one else in the restaurant. No one greeted me at first, I had to make the first move.

Didn't like the fact that they REQUIRE A TIP.. When you pay with a credit card, it only allows 2 options.. (1) $ (2) %..

I don't tip unless there is a feel that they did something other than just what their job was. The lady walked out of the kitchen, took my order.. No conversation.. Not much of any smiling.. The waitress looked like she was bored sitting at the table reading a newspaper.. Not what I would consider what I would be giving a tip for.. I tried $, 0 and would not work.

So I was required to add a tip.

Food: The Lemon Chicken was $14.95 and I know I will never order it again FROM HERE as I don't feel it's worth $15 for mostly BREADING..

There was VERY THIN strips of chicken inside.. Sounded like I was eating kettle Chips the entire time.. 75% BREADING, 25% chicken..

Just look at my photo's and you'll see hardly any chicken.. Elsewhere I go to, there was a thin breading coating and thick chicken strips for even less money.

The other item I bought was VERY good and I would definitely buy again.. But that Lemon Chicken.. Not a chance unless they were to sell it much cheaper for the amount of actual...

Four of us just had a wonderful dinner here tonight. I chose it because of the location to our friend's air bnb and the reviews. It is conveniently across the street from Superstore on Marine Drive. While it looks underwhelming from the outside, it is a perfect example of why with food especially, you have to open the cover (door) and explore. It smelled delicious walking in, and while we were the only people there for a late night (after 8pm dinner) there was a steady (and clearly in the know) stream of pickup orders. We ordered a tofu and seafood soup, seafood with gailan dish, beef and green beans and a chicken mushroom and onion hot pot. Each dish was generous, looked, smelled and tasted fresh and we all noted the quality of the meats and seafood. Jasmine tea was fresh and replenished without asking. It was also meticulously clean and tables were well spaced with perfect air conditioning. AlI of us would recommend Wo's Chinese Restaurant for take out, eat in and all around fresh, clean, not oversalted food. The sauces were all unique and tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. It was definitely great value...

Stands out in an area a bit sparse on dining choices. It's a small restaurant with a few tables, but I come here for takeout. The food is tasty and wait times are reasonable, the latter even better outside of peak dining hours. Things can be on the greasy side for some dishes, but overall it's decent, and to be fair, not uncommon for Chinese food. If you pick up your order, there's a small discount, and sometimes you can get a free dish depending on how much you spend, but you need to mention this on the phone when you order, otherwise you are out of luck. They also have a menu for larger party trays, which is nice if you are planning for an event. The restaurant is conveniently located on a corner, with bus stops nearby on both Main Street and Marine Drive. Street parking is free. Note that they aren't affiliated with the tiny strip mall next door, so there's no parking there...

Came here with a friend of mine after taking a look at Chinese food near me at that time and I saw this place with a good rating so figured why not. We went inside and placed an order but as soon as we did we saw an Ant behind my chair and I just ignored it thinking that it’s just one and moved on, when our food arrived I noticed that there was another ant on the same chair and when we looked down we saw there were a bunch of them, as soon as we saw that we told the lady at the front about the ants and she took a paper napkin and started cleaning or removing them while we were eating and then I told her that id like to get the bill which she brought and said sorry and gave us 60% off of the bill which we didn’t even eat the food of, we only took 3-4 bites and left and she charged $25 even for that. My mistake coming here again, definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Delicious and reliable Chinese food. We had takeout which works well for group meals and sharing. The deep fried chicken wings were crispy and juicy with nice fried garlic flavour (save the fried garlic bits and seasonings on the bottom of the container to mix with your fried rice, it’s pure yum). The vegetable spring rolls were large and filled with lots of vegetables. The ginger beef was sweet and savoury with some nice scant hot peppers for mild spice with good gingery, sticky sauce. The sweet and sour pork was juicy with great flavour and solid. The fried rice and chow mein were everything one would want and expect and went well with the sweet and sour pork and ginger beef. The beef and broccoli was also nice in flavour which included carrots stir fried into it making it more of a veggie dish. Very satisfying when craving classic Chinese takeout dishes.
