A&W Canada — Restaurant in Vanderhoof

I’m very concerned with this location. I ordered a habanero chicken sandwich, a mozza burger and fries around 9:40pm tonight and immediately got the vibe that they wanted to close up and not serve me. The fries were ice cold and soggy, I had to request another order as mine were almost inedible. There seemed to be no management working as the service was quite lacklustre and seemed to be outsourced individuals who didn’t seem to care about the quality of food they were serving. For the price this chain charges, the customer should deserve a far better experience. I’ll not be recommending this location until things are improved drastically. The management should be working the closing shifts in a location like this. They even tried to kick me out at 9:54 when the restaurant is open until 10:00pm. Very...

Hit and miss over the past 20 years but it has been mostly positive. Today our orders all came in the exact same burger bags. We had a hell of a time trying to figure out who gets what. Maybe if the bags were labled with the kind of burger ordered and that confusion could be eliminated. Their competitors do it... But we will never go back due to their drive through people. They like to talk over you instead of listening to orders. They lost any care they ever had about service. Their new "customer is always wrong" policy turned us off...

I was here during a visit to the area. This is a good place for fast food. I particularly enjoy the breakfast at an A&W.

I can get home style egg and toast with jam and hash brown and a cup of hot coffee. And, they serve breakfast on a real plate with metal cutlery.

A&W is one of the few restaurants where I can get non-medicated meat and eggs. Their meat and eggs do not have antibiotics or any other additives.

And, I hope other restaurants will soon follow...
