Subway — Restaurant in Vanderhoof

If I could give less stars I would. We stopped here to grab a bite on our way home to PG. After going through the line with my sister and her two teenagers and having 4 sandwiches and orders made the debit machine would not work. They let us know then that it was slow and usually doesn't work. Our order was $40 bucks so we scrounged what cash we had on us (who carries cash anymore??) and came up with $30 bucks. They told us that we would have to forgo our drinks. So we put our beverages back and it came to $31 and some cents. They STILL made us come up with the extra buck and a bit! At that point a lady in there took pity on us after watching this all unfold for about 10 minutes and paid the remaining balance and we walked out. In most cases when a places debit machine doesn't work they are a little lenient and usually courteous but not these guys. If you're planning on taking and making orders and you know your machine isn't working have a sign or let people know in advance. In my opinion the drinks should have been free from that whole experience. We will not be returning...

Our experience started with the attendant chastising my father in law because he asked for a Subway Club that apparently was not available for 2 years, no big deal if they didn't have it but she didn't need to treat us like garbage for the request. Then that followed with me being chastised for nodding my head when asked if I wanted my sub toasted which I totally understand why vebalizing is better after the fact but if I wasn't made to feel like I am being lectured for it I wouldn't of had an issue. After calling out her attitude I stayed quiet and when the customer in front of me complimented her she took it as an invitation to lecture and belittle me without taking any responsibility for her actions contributing to the problem. I kept quiet and didn't say anything as I just wanted a sandwich not a lecture. I appreciate the hard work and service employees at Subway's and other restaurants do and have worked in retail before and would never treat...

The range of fresh vegetables available in Subway was simply amazing. From tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, bell peppers to onions, they had it all! The vegetables were incredibly fresh and they allowed me to create my own masterpiece – the perfect subs! The taste of the food was just fantastic. From the freshly baked breads to the fillings, the flavors were top notch and enough to make my mouth water. It was obvious that great care and attention was put into making the food I was served. I highly recommend Subway to anyone looking for great tasting food served in a clean and friendly atmosphere.
