Royal Tandoori grill — Restaurant in Vaudreuil-Dorion

I had worst experience today and it was our last visit to this restaurant for rest of life . They ruined our weekend .we used to order food for birthdays and regular basis if need . Their staff was so mean towards us especially the young boy waiter We went for lunch with 2 kids one three years old and one is 10 it was buffet. My son doesn’t eat spicy so I told them we want to order fries and we ordered 2 buffet for me and my husband 3 plates of fries for kids and 4 coke . Still they were looking so worried that May be my son will eat with us and they said you cannot share food with kids I was surprised that I already told them they will eat fries as my son is picky eater also he is allergic to spicy food . Then they said you can share with your daughter she is free but not with son I was again surprised if she will eat and if it’s not free of course we will pay . In the mean time they came again and again to make sure my son is not eating from our buffet also how much my 3 year old daughter is eating she took just little bit fruits I put food in 2 plates because I didn’t want to mix salan with Dahi bhary and salad they asked us you have 3 buffet we again said no 2 buffet . then at the end they mentioned to my husband that you didn’t clean your plate as some food left in the plate coz it was too salty .they also said just be careful next time don’t waste our food my husband said sometimes it happens coz everytime buffet is changed and we are not used to for diff taste .anyways I didn’t eat much just because of their mean behaviour also the way the guy was staring our food . And I am already unwell as I already have Svt tychycardia and pregnancy . I just want to say if you are going with kids just be careful with their behaviour and also if you are loosing business that doesn’t mean you misbehave people especially...

hey guys i'm gonna share every single moment of worst experience we spend at restaurant Royal Tandoori grill,

we went there 7:50 pm girl take order from us said it’s won’t be so long after few minutes she just left from restaurant. we been waiting 10 to 15 min no one even served water. i went to receptionist she was on phone and taking phone order, she told me are you ready for giving order, what a joke…! I told her other girl already take order from us we are waiting for almost 15 min she said let me check after few sec She apologizes and said girl who takes order her shift is over and she left, Please reorder it’s won’t be long.

Now the food was on the table few food items just ok but expect lamb curry ,Butter Chicken & soya chaap. curry just fine nothing wrong but chicken inside Over salty cannot even bite we called the receptionist returned another plates of butter chicken and also told her try to eat by yourself and let us know if can eatable. it’s so weird taste She took all butter chicken plates and said we will make it again. Yes they make it new butter chicken for us ……!when we done our dinner and ready to go. I also share some pictures

Lamb curry also not fresh taste is not good . Every single time we have wait when we need something there is no body who can serve us

receptionist is so busy on phone for takeout orders so no service for inside customer because she the only one who take care phone calls inside customer

it's our bad to went there with guests before check food & service Quality We saw lots of 5 star google reviews and we went there. It’s our worst experience.

Food is not good..! even communication skills bad…! Not friendly..! Service quality very poor..!

5 stars – A Hidden Gem Worth the Drive!

I came to Royal Tandoori this past Sunday for their buffet lunch special with my grandmother, and I have to say — we were both incredibly impressed.

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From the fish and veggie dishes to the kebabs, tandoori selections, desserts, and even the fresh fruit platter at the end — the variety was generous and the quality consistent across the board.

What stood out even more was how reasonably priced it was. Coming from Montreal, I can confidently say that this level of quality and variety would easily cost more — and honestly, the taste here surpasses most places in the city.

A special mention goes to the hostess, who was truly wonderful — very warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. That extra care really added to the overall experience.
