We came with the intent to book this place for a later date for a BD party. We explained my limitations as I canāt have garlic in any form in my food . The hostess seemed very understanding and promised to make sure to deliver my request to the kitchen . Right at the beginning, we had difficulty. All the dishes that we tried to order ( lamb shush kebab, lamb shanks, lamb. chops, and even New York steak) the hostess didnāt recommend as āthe meat was too tough ( жеŃŃŠŗŠ¾Šµ)ā. We had a problem choosing something else, and after some time, she said the the chef will be able to cook lamb kebab to keep it softer. We ordered a beet salad with raisins and nuts. She brought the salad which had No raisins and NO nuts. When questioned about the absence of these ingredients, the hostess said that they just ādidnāt have raisins and nuts in the kitchenā. We did not eat the salad as without proper ingredients it tasted awful, but we were charged for it anyway. The lamb kebab was ok, but potatoes that came with it were absolutely undercooked and tasted raw. Needless to say that our request about not having garlic added to my food was ignored and I had to experience all the unpleasant consequences that I tried to avoid by requesting garlic free food. We did not book them for our party and will not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came with my elderly parents for dinner to celebrate my father's 80th bday. We were the only customers in the restaurant on a Friday night! This should've been a red flag. We ordered Steak, Chicken Kiev and Chicken Tabbaka with buckwheat for the three orders. A half hour later, we were told they ran out of buckwheat. We were offered mashed potatoes or fries instead. We opted for mashed potatoes which was lumpy and tasteless. The food was very low quality. The steak was practically inedible. Probably microwaved to thaw then improperly cooked. I wanted to return it but my father wouldn't as he did not want the fuss. The Kiev oozed water (not butter) as soon as I cut into it. The texture and taste of the chicken definitely says frozen not fresh. The Tabbaka was ok but also definitely frozen chicken. For the entire hour that we were there, there was a strong detergent/cleaner fluid odour in the air. The server was OK. I am not sure how this restaurant can stay in business serving this low quality food! Definitely a negative and unpleasant experience overall. We headed to Cafe Landower for dessert to try and celebrate my dad's bday after this very...
