My wife and I had the pleasure of hosting a remarkable event at Hollywood Banquet Hall on July 19, 2024, with over 90 guests, and I am delighted to share that the experience was nothing short of spectacular. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations.

The owner of Hollywood Banquet Hall went above and beyond to ensure our night was perfect. His patience and dedication were truly commendable, and his attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, adding a personal touch that made the evening even more special.

The venue itself is stunning. Upon entering, you are instantly transported to a different world, with a beautiful ambiance that sets the perfect tone for any celebration. The large dance floor and artistic lighting create an inviting and vibrant atmosphere that enhanced our guests' enjoyment.

Hollywood Restaurant and Banquet Hall review: Attention: Attitude! We celebrated two birthday parties there May 2 2015, and i have to say the venue is absolutely beautiful, but we were not at all impressed with the band and their singing. At first they were ok, but later on I don't know what happened, but half of the songs were partially performed as the band did not seem to know the words...when i mentioned it in the end, basically politely saying if they don't deliver good service - they won't get business in the future - I got attitude back. In addition, they always have a show on saturdays, but apparently 60 guests is not enough for them to be willing to pay for the dancers. Were were not aware that there will be no show. Another issue was that nothing from food was offered "to go". I have been to a lot of places like this one, and every time i walked out with a few bags of leftovers from our table. Also, as the celebration proceeded , the waitress was passing by and poured something in one of the carafes with vodka...few of my guest saw it happen. .what the heck was that? Water? Drugs? Urine? wow... And finally, at the end of the night, when we were paying , one of the co-owners gave us a bill with price 10$ more per person, than the agreed price. When i pointed it out to her she gave me attitude, while writing out another bill. We might have been drunk, but not stupid. Overall customer service is not on a good level. SOOO much attitude! I felt like this was back in the USSR, where customer service and attitude is a big issue... I would not go back nor would i recommend this place...

Absolutely terrible service - we booked the restaurant two weeks in advance for a party happening two months after the booking. We called the owner and spoke to her personally TWICE on the phone where she confirmed that she has reserved a spot for our group of 20+ people and that all we need to do now is bring a deposit. We inquired whether the spot will be held until the deposit is brought later on that week and she confirmed that yes, the reservation was ours for the Saturday brunch.

We showed up with a deposit as discussed and agreed upon. At this point the owner told us that someone else's name is in the book. There is nothing she can do. The person who took our reservation wanted a dinner party that start at 3pm. Are you serious? Our brunch was meant to be from 12-5. You could have said sorry but dinner doesn't start until 6. Maybe even 7pm. Instead of completely ignoring our needs and accommodating someone who was obviously an acquaintance. This ruined all of our plans and almost ruined my father's anniversary party. Shame on you and the way you do business. There are hundreds of restaurants like this in Toronto and we made the mistake of trying to go to this place. NEVER. AGAIN.

No accountability. She almost made it sound like it was our fault. We said but we called you twice to confirm that there was a spot for us and to make a reservation....to which she replied well someone else gave a deposit first. Way to go. Total lack of organisation skills, terrible and...
