Sharing my Wonderful Experience …..of who I thought were the owners kids; but were actually Loyal, Smart, and Entrepreneurial Employees in their actions and thought process !! I was running late for a meeting at 6:00pm …. Did not yet have lunch and thought to run into Aroma to grab a delicious sandwich and one of there wonderful coffee’s. Instead I was late and it was shortly after 6:00 and they were closing down 🫤. As I rushed in they said “sorry we have closed down” That means machines are cleaned and kitchen is shut down! I said “Humm to bad I haven’t even had lunch !”
I was ready to leave, when both Arjun and Ayushi (two Warm Kind Hearted Spirts) said “we can help you if you order a cold coffee/Drink (and they proceeded to show me a menu) and any of the pastries in the cabinet” I was so happy to see how they went out of their way to assist me …. Where they could have easily taken a quick easy way out and just lock up. I kept thanking them but Arjun said no problem but please just give us a good rating on Google !
Their actions made me think they were part of ownership….. so I asked if they were the owners or related, as they were concerned about the companies wellbeing. They said no just employees. I was shocked and said I have not seen any employee with such commitment and dedication to a company!
This is location with not only Fabulous Food & Beverages, but Truly Caring Sevice Individuals ….. ready to make your visit a Beautiful...
Read moreAVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! WORST AROMA LOCATION. AROMA NEEDS TO REVIEW THIS FRANCHISE. Horrible experience and staff. I ordered a drink and was working on my laptop while enjoying my drink when a staff member (older guy with accent) interrupted me and said I can’t be sitting at the table I was sitting in. I told him I need the space and have additional people joining me and he said no i need to move. Before I could respond he started unplugging my charger and touching my belongings which is unacceptable. As I was packing up he kept rushing me even though he saw I was packing up. He then called over a group of people by their names (people he knew) to take my table. There were plenty of other tables and similar tables like mine with less people. I do not understand why I was singled out to move for other people (who just came in) to sit. It’s a first come first serve basis you do not just kick people off their tables after they have settled down. Horrible experience, I never have experienced this in any cafe establishment. No courtesy or kindly asking. Just straight up touching my stuff and rushing me to move and no apologies. I’ve been to other aroma cafes and they are not like this. Upon reading other reviews at this location this is not the first time this has happened and it probably won’t be the last time. If you need to get work done/study, avoid this place. They will unreasonably kick you out of your table for...
Read moreIf I could give this place zero stars, I would. AVOID THIS LOCATION! I have been to this location twice over the past few months. A few months ago, I came to this Aroma to do some work with my sister. As I was working, the manager walks up to my table and yells at me for leaning my foot against the chair that was beside me at my table. I was so caught off guard because I failed to realize how something so minuscule could bother someone like that. We got up and left immediately. Fast forward to April 2020, my mom and I were in the area and she insisted that she needed coffee (Aroma was the closest place around). Given the COVID situation, I tried to use my foot to press the automatic door switch, which was broken and did not open. When we came inside, the manager, who was at cash, felt the need to demonstrate how to use the door switch (which also didn't work for him, but apparently he is almighty and all-knowing). This was incredibly disgusting for him to do, as he was undermining our ability to operate a simple door. I can only imagine how poorly he would have reacted had someone with a disability needed to open the door. We will never be returning to this location. I would recommend driving the extra kilometres to go to the Vaughan Mills location or the store on Rutherford (near LA Fitness). Or better yet, support a company that values...
