I attended this location to get a small crunchy chicken burrito for lunch. Once I got the food and took my first bite, I noticed a strange texture to the chicken. Upon further inspection I noticed the colour of the chicken was still pink and discovered it was not cooked.
At this point I stopped eating the burrito and began to look at some of the other pieces of chicken. I noticed a good portion of the chicken was pink, while some pieces appeared cooked.
I was disappointed but understood that sometimes these things happen and was willing to overlook this instance. I was most shocked at my treatment when I returned to the store to address my concerns.
When I showed them the chicken and explained that it was tough to chew and pink on the inside, they did not offer me any solution other than to prepare another chicken burrito. I explained that I lost my appetite and would rather be compensated or given a credit for the same value of the burrito.
The employees went to the back to talk to the owner to find a solution and to my surprise, they told me that neither of these options were available to me as the minimum gift card had to be at least $30.00. Instead, they insisted multiple times that I take a replacement burrito and that this time they would ensure it was okay.
I have attached a picture of some pieces of chicken with the ones lower in the frame to the right appearing pink.
I would highly suggest no one come to this location to order chicken as there is a chance that the owner knows he is serving raw meat and turning a blind eye. I am appalled at this business and their proposed solutions to serving raw meat.

Read moreI yesterday night visited Bar Burrito and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I ordered a veggie bowl and explained that I have celiac disease, so I need to follow a strict gluten-free diet. When I tried to scan the code to check which sauces were gluten-free, the staff member was extremely rude to me. She said things like, “Don’t you see the list in front of you? Is your eyesight weak?” which I found very unprofessional and disrespectful.
On top of that, I was also concerned about the hygiene practices. While preparing my bowl, some salsa spilled onto the counter, and instead of discarding it, she scooped it back up and threw it into backto food . When I pointed this out, she brushed it off and said, “I always do this, there’s nothing wrong.” This is absolutely not acceptable in food service, especially when it comes to safety and cleanliness.
As someone with dietary restrictions, I take food safety very seriously, and this experience left me feeling disrespected and unsafe eating there. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and trains their staff properly in both customer service and hygiene standards..
I hope the staff here can receive more training in manners and customer service. When I asked about gluten-free options due to celiac disease, the staff member was rude instead of helpful. Respect and kindness go a long way in making customers...
Read moreCame today to purchased some food and was bitterly disappointed that I felt I needed to write a review. I ordered a burrito bowl and asked for extra guac I had even made it very clear that I didn't mind paying extra, $1, $2 or even $5 it didn't matter. The server had made me pay first and although I was kinda thrown off by the rudeness of the person I still gave them a $5.00 tip. As my food was being prepared I noticed that I didn't get any guac and I reminded them that I wanted some, at this point the server got really aggressive and asked that I pay extra. Again I have no problem paying, for $1 you get a small dollop so I requested a double order. Now this individual is upset because I'm asking for too much.
