This is definitely one of my worst Pizza Hut experiences in the country. I eat pizza all the time, I order it when I’m working since I’m a long haul truck driver & I get tired of truck food, I order the food at chains all across the country
And this is one of my worst experiences yet.
I ordered because I had a free pizza so I added a meaty bolognese penne pasta with large breadstick with cheese to go with it and the whole experience was not great.
I’m 2km from the store this shipped from, I didn’t realize it was that close but wouldn’t have mattered since I can’t bring a truck to a small lot anyway but the eta was over an hour and a half after I placed the order
It showed up on the eta time, an hour and a half after ordering, but the food was cooked & packed half an hour after I ordered it. It sat at the store for an hour before it came 5 minutes down the road to be delivered.
It arrived, the pasta was still slightly warm but not warm like its fresh, warm like it’s been sitting under a warmer for an hour so it’s firm, cold & tough to separate from the tray, but warm to taste, so the flavours off
The breadsticks, again, cold, and taste off because they’re not fresh
Same deal with the pizza
The whole order showed up just warm enough to say it was warm but by the time you sit down to eat it, it’s cold already because it spent over an hour under a warmer before it was delivered.
Still gonna eat it because I need to eat and I paid for it. There’s no point calling to complain because certain people run these chains and they don’t care. I’ve had similar issues at home in Winnipeg a few times and I complained to the store and nothing was done about it, why? Because they’re run by a specific group of people, quality & care don’t exist at these chains anymore.
I bet they wouldn’t be satisfied with this either but for some reason, they think it’s okay to put this garbage out to paying customers. Costs keep rising, the employees care less and less, and then the food shows up cold. Not impressed, and don’t see much going to happen about it either.
There’s many mixed reviews about this location, so it could be staff dependant, but either way it’s a corporate chain with standards & the standards are not being met nationwide more often than not. Its location dependant on whether you’re going to get good food or not, which is sad. Lesson learned, I will not visit this chain again in this area. I’ll spend 32 bucks at the convenience store before I buy from this...

Unfortunately for the sake of this review I would need to give them a star. I have always went out of my way to go to this specific location of Pizza Hut. Today for the first time I found their pizza to be undercooked even after especially calling them to make it well done. Now thinking back, how does a pizza get ready in 10 minutes? Anyway, upon opening the pizza and taking a bite out of it I found it to be extremely chewy and undercooked. I called the hut and the guy on the phone was arguing with us instead of coming up with a solution or even apologizing. He kept on saying no one has ever complained( I don’t think they look at their reviews). He looked at my order history too and knew I WAS a loyal customer and started saying that we never complained before which was exactly my point. He refused a refund, refused to get a new one delivered and just wanted us to deal with it. He said he’ll give us a refund but even if a bite was taken from it he won’t. Read moreIf i could give this review zero stars for customer service I would. From the second they answered the phones I knew there were going to be issues with my order. It took them a painfully long time to take my information and order and even forgot to ask me for my unit number which I had to add in myself. Told me the order would take 25-30 minutes and forgot to tell me my total for the order . 45minutes later I still haven’t received my pizza and when I called back I spoke with a new person who was blaming the previous person for not taking my phone number down properly (what a surprise). They said that they were sending a new driver right away and I asked if by now my order would still be hot. Which of course it wasn’t. When the new driver arrived he blamed the order taking forever on the first driver getting lost. Which sounds impossible considering everyone has gps in their cars/phones. On top of that they forgot one of my dipping sauces and the driver didn’t have change for my cash on him. Never ordering...
