We went to dinner there with My Dad , My husband , Myself and my 6 year old - I was really happy with the food - it was phenomenal. I had a burger with onion rings , my daughter ordered from the kids menu and had chicken straps and fries - my Dad had the ribs ; and my husband had the honey chicken sandwich with a Cesar salad.. I can't say anything bad about the food.. it was incredible and their deserts were also phenomenal. My dad got the cheesecake the red velvet one. And my daughter got a birthday Cake slider. They both finished the entire thing.. and when we were leaving we also noticed they supposed an Autism cause... it was on a poster outside that they give funds to an autism cause. Which is amazing.. we didn't know they did that til we were leaving [my 6 year old is autistic] she loved that there was so many activities to do on the children's place mat . . It kept her busy the whole time we waited..
My only critique... 1] at one point I had to get up to find out waitress to order desert because she never came back to our table.. to like ask if we needed anything else etc. But it wasn't a deal breaker for us. We still enjoyed the dinner out and would recommend to others if they are in the area ... we came from London Ont. To visit my Dad in North York. So we will definitely be back to this restaurant when we go back to visit 2] there was sports on every TV..[I know it IS A sports bar.. so that's more so just a small little thing. Because my daughter is special needs she had no interest in watching sports so I ended up just giving her my phone to watch YouTube on. But maybe if there are kids in there..consider putting on whatever TV is closest to their table with something kid friendly for them? Just a suggestion. :) anyways
Thanks so much for having us. We loved your restaurant and...
Read moreI rarely leave reviews, but when it comes to my family and poor service, I feel it’s important to speak up. I fully respect the challenges of working in hospitality, and I understand that some days can be harder than others. However, our experience at St. Louis on Hwy 27 this past Tuesday, Canada Day around 4:50 PM, was truly disappointing. I was there with my mom and my 5-year-old son. The restaurant was about half empty, and two servers were on duty. We ordered a pitcher of sangria, which took quite a while to arrive. One of the servers, Natalia M., stood out—not in a good way. Her attitude came off as disinterested and unfriendly from the start. We ordered apple juice with no ice for my son, yet it arrived with ice. My son was also the first to order his meal—a simple Alfredo pasta. We then ordered calamari to share and a half rack of ribs for my mom, while I was still deciding. Instead of giving us space, the server leaned impatiently on the table behind her, waiting. The food took longer than expected, and the first dish brought out was my son’s pasta—served in a chipped grey bowl (which I regret not photographing). When I pointed this out, the server simply said “okay,” without any acknowledgment or apology. Later, only my meal—a new jalapeño poutine—was served. The calamari and ribs were completely forgotten. We politely reminded them that items were missing, and they did bring them eventually, but the experience was already soured. Despite all of this, we still paid our bill, which came to over $170, and left a tip. This location used to be our go-to spot, but after this experience, sadly, we won’t be returning. Service like this is simply not...
Read moreWe went to St. Louis Milani hwy27 location last night to celebrate our anniversary. We literally did not enjoy at all, apart from the server, everything just sucked.
The food was stale and had zero efforts in their presentation.
We ordered mozzarella sticks and this is how it came..it was stale and chewy as if they just took some old old frozen sticks and heat it up. It was burnt as well. I could’ve done better job of reheating frozen sticks in my air fryer at home. Just threw on some lettuce from a bag and put the burnt sticks on it. See picture.
The nachos we ordered was also burnt and it was so soggy, again zero efforts in plating or proper food plating. There were lumps of salsa on the nachos which made it sour and so soggy we couldn’t even eat it. Then the impossible burger we ordered, it’s patty was also burnt and so very dry to eat. It was such a half done job like the chefs hardly cared for their customers.
Now the drink, we ordered the Tiki and Mule, we asked for less ice, server said the alcohol amount will be same to which we told her that it’s fine we just want less ice. Our drinks came filled with ice and the Tiki I ordered tasted like a sherbet, literally had no taste of alcohol at all. We had to order a beer so we could have some enjoyment of having a date night. The only thing we enjoyed were the golden fries that came with the burger. They were good to pair up with Cajun seasoning.
I would never go back here again and would not recommend taking your other half here to have any sort of...
