My recent visits to Booster Juice, particularly today, have been incredibly disappointing. The owner of this location, Sahara, appears to be the root cause of the issues with the staff. Despite constantly reminding me that she owns the place, she is clearly unfit to manage a team and is the reason for the employees' lack of knowledge and positive attitude.
As I arrived, I noticed Sahara talking down to her staff and micromanaging their every move. It was uncomfortable to witness and undoubtedly contributed to the employees' lack of engagement with customers.
When I approached the counter, the employee appeared nervous and unsure of themselves, which indicated a lack of training and support from the owner. Sahara's poor management skills and failure to invest in her employees' development are undoubtedly to blame for the staff's lack of knowledge and expertise.
It's a shame that Sahara's Booster Juice location has such unknowledgeable staff, as it detracts from what could be an excellent customer experience. I sincerely hope that she takes responsibility for her management shortcomings and implements the necessary changes to improve her employees' knowledge and customer service. Until then, I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for quality service...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer of Booster Juice for over two years, and I’ve always loved the smoothies. However, I’ve recently had a frustrating experience at the 8280 Hwy 27, Vaughan location.
For months now, there’s often only one person working at this location, even though it used to be staffed with two people, which allowed for faster service. The staff member working is always friendly and doing their best, but with just one person handling both customer orders and deliveries, it leads to long wait times. On my most recent visit, I waited for 25 minutes due to a line of customers and several Uber orders, which was really disappointing. In fact, the person behind me left before being served because of the wait.
I understand staffing decisions are based on sales, but it’s surprising to hear that this location is one of the top performers in terms of sales yet is still running with minimal staff. Other Booster Juice locations I’ve visited are adequately staffed, which makes the experience much smoother.
I still love Booster Juice, but I hope the management takes action to improve the service at...
Read moreUsed to come here every morning for the last few weeks. This morning was the first time I missed my breakfast. Unusually busy morning, lady was doing her best to keep up. But it took 20 mins to see the lady in front of me in line and I wasnt gonna wait another 20 mins for the cashier to take my order, was already late for work by 5 mins. Very consistent location, hoping they had backup staff for unusually busy days. The next closest booster juice is 7 km away, about another 30 min trip back n forth.
Update: back here June 15 Same lady serving, waited 15 mins for my order to be taken. Only 2 people ahead of me, already ordered. Took 15 mins to make both drinks. Then she wiped down, for another 5 mins. Im already late for my break but I already waited so long, I dont want to walk out on her twice. It is now 17 mins since I walked in. I dont mean to single anyone out, but I never have to wait this long with anyone else. Im sorry Shayla, Im just not happy with my service...
