Terrible management... We came a couple of weeks ago, the girl who took my order at the front was lovely and delightful. She was fundamentally the only positive aspect of my visit. I ordered an Angus burger with cheese and bacon. Another gentleman just before me ordered the same burger but without the bacon. An innocent mistake happened where the gentleman mistook my burger for his own. So when they called me up for my burger, it was obviously without bacon. I didn't think it was such a big deal to add bacon to it, but the young manager on the grill reacted VERY unprofessionally and childishly to the situation. I heard her telling the employee in the front that it wasn't her fault they didn't verify the burger before sending it out and that she wouldn't be fixing the problem...? Despite being the manager, she did not come out to speak with me like I was inconveniencing her. She was unbelievable; why should the customer get penalized for an inevitable mistake? If this is how the store treats patrons now, they are taking a step in the absolute wrong direction.
I wish I could say my experience is irregular, but that would be lying. We've been coming to this location for several years, and it used to be our favourite location because of Mitchel. But this year, since he left, there has been an obvious decline in customer service. Mitchel was always smiling and going above and beyond; I did not get this energy from the new younger manager. Every visit we've had with her was subpar. She has an accent and is very demeaning to us and the other customers. I'm not looking for perfection, but this will be our final visit to this location. Like I said, attempting to support local stores but come on, this is unacceptable. You guys have to do...
Read moreHonestly? Abysmal. The basic poutine is fine but everything else has been disappointing. The grilled chicken in my wrap tasted sweaty (whereas McDs has a rather fresh-tasting one). The toppings were mostly on one end of the wrap and it was placed flat in the bag so this is the fault of whoever made it, not gravity. That, and the chicken was cold (so much for "grilled?") The Angus burger is bland; I've had better veggie burgers (especially the new Beyond Meat at A&W). The regular burger tastes like it's made of beans. Now, I can appreciate a good veggie burger and I do enjoy beans, but this burger was not made for vegetarians. The meat lovers poutine wasn't worth the money at all. The onions were added on raw instead of being mixed in to allow them to soften and carmelize. They seem cool in that they offer free guacamole but it was basically a thin spread on my burger. Their service at least was polite and timely.
I used to LOVE this place as a kid. Now I can barely stomach their food.
I'm not trying to be mean, they just really need to improve. At least there's lots of parking. No tables for outdoor...
Read moreWent inside to order meals for myself and 2 children. I asked for sweet and sour sauce for the children’s meals and I was told but all 3 worker that they are unable to sell sweet and sour sauce, the only way to get the sauce was to order nuggets. I’ve been to several different Harvey’s and I’ve never heard such a rule. The manager advised that it was a corporate mandate…. I told them I need the sauces or the kids won’t eat the meal. They advised me the only way I can order the sauce is if I download the app and order it from the App. Long story short I downloaded the app and place an order through the app and got the sauces. I will never be going back to this location. Horrible customer service! I’ve attached my receipt for in store purchase and the receipt from the online...
