Harvey's — Restaurant in Vaughan

I rarely eat here myself as I think the burgers are tasteless, very similar to 7/11 burgers, however on this occasion I was simply picking up an order for someone else. I went to the pickup area and after a few minutes someone came over to ask what I was waiting for. I provided the pickup name, the employee went to check, said something about resetting the tablet and left. Then a few minutes later someone else came by, I again provided the pickup details but never saw this person again. Finally after roughly 20 mins someone who appeared to be a manager came to ask for my order details. She then said the order would be ready in 2 minutes. She began working on something, but after 10-15 minutes had disappeared (presumably to hide in the back as I never saw her again), and I was still no closer to picking up the order. After 45 mins someone new came over, I once again provided the order details. Finally this person began completing the order as it appears the burgers were made, but left sitting waiting to be dressed. I also asked to speak to the manager (Janelle), but no one came out. Sadly all the recent 1-star reviews regarding food quality and customer service are spot on. If staff are that disinterested with providing a good customer experience, and that reckless with someone's time (this is not directed to staff that care about doing a good job), I don't think this Harvey's deserves anyone's hard...

Harvey’s is the home of Canadian comfort food! I worked at a location almost 2 hours away before moving to the GTA for food. I haven’t been to Harvey’s in quite some time because I was always wanting to try new things that I didn’t have at home. However, a crispy chicken wrap and onion rings sounded like a great sunday treat!

I ordered a crispy chicken wrap with cheese, bacon, lettuce, pickles, chipotle and garlic aoli. It was everything I dreamed of and more. The rings could’ve been a little more crispy, but that’s my bad, I forgot to ask for them to be made “well done”. I also noticed that there were more Swiss chalet items on the Harvey’s serving Swiss side! My home location didn’t have half of the things that they had on this menu! We just had quarter, half, full chicken dinners, soup, chalet sauce and chicken on a Kaiser.

The spring rolls piqued my interest! I decided to get an order of those on the side to hold me over for the car ride. They were so good! I was informed they were freshly made in the store. Very crispy. Very delicious. I think next time, I might try the chicken wings and one of the Swiss chalet desserts?? My mouth is watering thinking about...

RIDICULOUS Customer Service!

My visit to Harvey's on 8th August 2016 with my friend has been by far the most ridiculous! We entered the restaurant and placed an order. Firstly they din have half the stuff on the menu. Then after we paid, the cook threw a tantrum and packed and left in an instant. The cashier looked blanked and hesitant. He then went and turned on the grill himself and started preparing the meal. 25 mins passed and he was still trying to get the fries in place. We asked to speak to the manager who looked liked an inexperienced and naive boy who din know how to handle this situation. Very conveniently he kept sending the cashier back to apologize and offer free apple pie. Lol. We insisted we'd like to speak to the manager but he said he was too busy on the phone and din wish to speak to us. But asked us to come back and avail a 20% discount on the bill on our next visit.

I don't think there's ever going to be a next visit by me and I'll make sure none of my friends ever go to Harvey's. Atleast not this branch at Rutherford.
