Shawarma Jwan — Restaurant in Vaughan

My friend and I visited this restaurant today, and the Middle Eastern food was absolutely delicious, with just the right amount of spice. Our meals were served on porcelain plates since we were dining inside, which we really appreciated—I personally dislike eating from disposable containers. The staff was incredibly warm and friendly, making our experience even better. While we were there, we noticed a kind gentleman dining nearby. After he left, we were surprised to discover that he had secretly paid for our meal! This unexpected act of kindness truly amazed us. I would love to take this opportunity to thank him and send him my best regards. When we asked the restaurant owner about him, he told us that the gentleman was one of their regular customers and that he was from Morocco. This thoughtful gesture created a wonderful memory for us and has definitely made us want to become regular...

i recently had an appointment in the plaza and was hungry with some time to spare, when shawarma jwan caught my eye. on walking in, i saw the cooks assembling a giant meat platter which looked incredibly tasty and succulent- i knew i was at the right spot. i also ran into an acquaintance there, who is iraqi, and was really hyping it up, further reaffirming i was indeed in the right spot. as time was somewhat limited, i opted for a simple mixed shawarma wrap, but even just off that first foray was blown away, the quality and flavour both top-notch. i love the thin bread they use, as well as the unique sauces (different to other tzatziki and garlic sauce), and just the quality of meat- also a very good portion and fair price. i can't wait to return to try much more of their awesome menu. very friendly people as well-...

I had an amazing experience at this Shawarma shop! Not only was the food absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection—but the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Two of my friends weren’t feeling well that day, and the owners noticed. Without hesitation, they prepared some comforting soup for them on the house, which was both thoughtful and incredibly kind. The soup itself was flavorful and heartwarming, showing that they genuinely care about their customers.
