It’s a nice, bright, and clean place with amazing service located in Woodbridge. Pleasant Italian and Latin music plays in the background, but the interior design is modern and elegant.
Calamari Alla Griglia Tender grilled calamari with balsamic vinegar pesto. Fabulous texture - very tender and firm,”meaty” at the same time. A bit spicy with sweet notes. I really liked it!
Bistecca ai Ferri A perfectly cooked medium-rare striploin was tender and juicy. I asked to exclude sautéed onions for me, but keep mushrooms. So, my photo is not exactly the same as it normally served. However, it was almost impossible to decide which was better this steak with mushrooms or “Bistecca ZiZi” which is grilled and then sautéed in brandy and cream sauce. The latter was also tender and cooked just to a medium-rare condition as requested. Both steaks ere served with seasonal vegetables and roasted potatoes, although I think that for a steak sauteed in sauce something with a bit more bitter flavor – like, kale or rapini, - will augment the dish with a more interesting contrast.
Cappuccino Truffle At first, we were not impressed by the desert selection, but we gave a try and were amazed by this dish: small pieces of coffee meringue covers soft, gently sweet Cappuccino Gelato. It was a small and simple masterpiece in the European tradition.
I have to add that Zizi Trattorria offers not just very good service and gastronomic delights, but also great value as their portions are generous (steaks are 10 oz!) and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended for those who live in Vaughan or visiting Wonderland or Vaughn Mills...

I visited this restaurant with two friends for an evening out and unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. We started with the calamari appetizer, which was recommended by the waiter as the “best in town,” but it turned out to be chewy and overcooked.
I ordered the seafood pasta and specifically requested it without scallops and mussels. Despite this, the dish was brought out with all the seafood included. When I pointed out the issue, they simply took the dish back and removed the items—instead of preparing it fresh. What I ended up with was a very underwhelming plate: just three shrimp and a few rings of calamari.
We also asked for hot water, which never arrived. One of my friends ordered latte and received a cappuccino. There was clearly a breakdown in order-taking and communication throughout the evening.
What was most frustrating is the attitude—there seemed to be a sense that the staff knew best and that our preferences didn’t matter. The entire meal cost $215 plus gratuity, which made the poor service and subpar food feel even more unacceptable.
Very disappointed. I hope the management takes feedback like this seriously to improve their service and better...

My husband ordered the sirloin - it was pretty good. I ordered the veal Marselle. One of the worst dishes I've ever tasted. It was inedible. I had my husband try it - because he isn't picky at all and he couldnt eat it. We sent it back. The waiter asked if I wanted anything else - i told him i would take a caesar salad.
We waited for another 20 min - during that time the waiter brought us a desert menu - so we assumed he forgot about my ceasar salad and since we were waiting for so long we said we would just order a desert. Waited another 20 min for him to come back to see what we wanted - so we just told him to bring the bill. To our surprise we were charged for the salad that I never received - when we brought that to his attention he said he thought someone had brought it for us.
All in all - it was a very poor experience. I understand you're busy on Valentine's day but you should be staffed...
