Pizza Nova — Restaurant in Vaughan

I got a party size pizza with 3 toppings, when I opened it at home, it barely had any cheese on it, and of course couldn't taste it. At the edges there was none at all. If I had to guess, the amount of cheese will be 75 to 100g only on a big party size pizza. You would think spending more than $40 to taste a minimum of bread and cheese, there wasn't any cheese there to taste. Additional toppings were onions, sundried tomatoes and roasted peppers. Also, the pizza is not placed on a stone, rather on a metal sheet inside an oven. I was unhappy to the level of writing this on Google. It seems that they are trying to save on ingredients. Also the pizza dough was under seasoned. Come on, it's just a Pizza. Reply to owner's response: Sorry, but I genuinely don't believe you. Read your 1 star reviews and you will see may reviewers raising the same concern, Fatima Barzegar, Payam Torfehgoo, Roni F and more and more. People are complaining about quantity, quality and customer service. This is cheating and or scam. When you take money from customers, you need to give them a Pizza quality that you will be happy to serve the CEO of your company with confidence. Every Pizza out of the oven should meet that level of standard. Unfortunately many people are telling you again and again and you keep on doing the same mistake again and again. This store in intentionally cutting corners and substantially compromising the quality of a Pizza to save on ingredients. Even the responses from negative reviews are copy and paste, which means zero efforts in learning or taking feedback or retaining customers. Serve quality Pizza might help you with attracting more customers, rather than ingredients and might give you a 2nd chance if you customer service fail. But it seems this store believes they are doing things right as long as they make money. Pizza Nova is my go-to for amazing, reliable pizza—and a big part of that is thanks to the incredible service led by the owner, Benjamin. You can really feel the pride he puts into running this location. He’s friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about his customers’ experience.

The pizzas are consistently top-notch: fresh ingredients, crispy-yet-chewy crust, and that signature sauce that’s packed with flavor. The Quattro Formaggi and Mediterranean Veggie are my personal favorites—always loaded and satisfying.

Service is quick, the staff is well-trained, and the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming every time I visit. Benjamin has truly created something special here.

I ordered a medium pizza for delivery at 12:00pm, and their e-mail says estimated delivery time is 35-40 min. At 12:50pm I still didn't receive it so I called them, and the customer service agent told me to give them another call when the pizza arrives. Elderly man delivers the pizza at 01:10pm, so I call their line again and get put on hold. While being put on hold, he kept telling me the pizza isn't late and to hurry up and pay. Then he said "you just want it for free", while he rolls his eyes at me. The agent comes on the line and says the pizza is free, so I take the pizza and close the door on him to stay on the line with the agent of how rude he was.
