🍣 I’m definitely a sushi lover and always on the lookout for new spots to try. I came across this place after the sushi restaurant I used to go closed. After reading a few reviews, I decided to give it a shot — and I’m so glad I did!

The first time, I ordered the Sushi Party Platter — OMG, it was so good! The second time, I went with my usual: spicy salmon rolls and some sashimi. Once again, they delivered — the sashimi was incredibly fresh and flavorful, the kind that just melts in your mouth like butter.

So far, I’ve tried several of their rolls and haven’t been disappointed even once. The sushi size is consistently generous, and the flavors are always on point. Plus, they’ve surprised me a few times with some delicious extras on the house — such a nice touch!

What really sets this place apart, beyond the amazing sushi and sashimi, is the service. The staff are super polite and friendly, and it makes all the difference. Even though I never eat inside, but let me tell you, the restaurant itself is small and cozy — it actually reminds me of a spot I used to go to in Yorkville, around Cumberland Street, downtown.

💰 Price-wise, they’re right in line with other sushi spots in the area, but the quality and care you get here make it a standout. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to all my fellow sushi lovers! I love order to pickup and...

It's a small place but properly set up - has a full kitchen with a bar table, and the dining area has a few tables plus some booths.

They have quite a few special roll options, though most were derivatives of California and Dynamic rolls. Tried the Lion King and Tataki Attack. Both were good with thin rice layers and relatively fresh seaweed wraps. I liked the Lion King better since it had more fillings.

Chicken Karaage was so-so, more like pre-made chicken popcorn than authentic karaage.

Shrimp Tempura was good - big shrimps wrapped in the thin, light and crispy batter.

Service was great, the staff was very considerate - created a bigger space for us and added tea and napkins timely.

Overall, a decent spot for sushi if you're in the area, but nothing that would make me drive across town.

Food (quality, creativity, consistency) - 3.5/5 Drinks (quality, variety) - NA/5 Ambience (interior design, cleanliness) - 3.7/5 Service (courtesy, knowledge, timeliness) - 4/5 Value (quality vs. price) -...

5 STARS - Deserved and Delivered!

After a fun-filled, wholesome day at Canada’s Wonderland, we were craving sushi and looked up a spot nearby with great reviews. That’s how we found Kin Sushi in Vaughan—and let us tell you, those 5-star reviews were absolutely on point.

From the moment we stepped in, everything exceeded expectations. The taste? Incredible. Every dish was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully crafted. We tried a mix of rolls and nigiri, and each bite was better than the last.

The presentation was outstanding—true culinary art on every plate. You could tell a lot of pride and precision goes into their food.

And the service? Just amazing. Friendly, fast, and attentive without ever being intrusive. The staff made us feel right at home, which was the perfect way to end our long day.

Whether you’re coming off a day at the park or just in the mood for fantastic sushi, Kin Sushi is an absolute must-visit. We fully agree with the rave reviews—and we’ll...
