Visited this restaurant on July 12, 2024. It started raining and many people rushed inside. We ordered 4 plates of food resulting in a bill of around $110 and headed over to find a table. Well, just to mention, this place is too expensive for what they offer, but still, overall, the entire place is expensive.
So, all tables were packed, there were a lot of people just sitting without having ordered anything. We had to finally stand in the middle of the restaurant and try to start eating near the wooden wall. Suddenly the manager showed up and started asking people to leave that spot. I asked him where we are supposed to sit, he said "I do not know", well, we ordered food from your restaurant, there are tables, but just occupied by people sitting without any food ordered, why do not you help find something, so that we could eat the ordered food, instead he said "I am sorry, there is nowhere to sit", even though there were tables with umbrellas outside, but umbrellas were taken down. So we ended up finding one table outside and opening the umbrella by ourselves. I do not know why the manager did not even try to tell us that there could be some tables outside. So we started our lunch, the rain stopped, and one of the employees approached and asked to take down the umbrella, but I said that the water would flow down on our plates once the umbrella is taken down and that guy said ok, I also promised to take it down myself once we finish our food.
2 minutes later that manager approached and said that the umbrella should be taken down. I started asking why it is so crucial to take the umbrella down right now, explained to him, that the water will flow down on our plates. Instead he did not even want to listen, just said that it could be windy(there was no wind at all, not even a blow), so umbrellas should be taken down. I just asked for another 5 minutes to finish our food, he said no.
So, that manager has no any experience working with customers, he is not behaving in a customer oriented way and I strongly believe he does not deserve to work there, just behaving unprofessionally. I will never come back to Lazy Bear and tell all my...
Read moreWhat’s really sad is the food is decent, but by principle I will never return. Denied a take-out box for leftovers - umm it’s in the name (TAKE-OUT). After paying $40+tax for two small meals, I felt sick from the rides so I wanted to pack mine up. They wouldn’t give me a 1 cent box…a meal costs them $3 max to make, and they charge $19.99 before taxes. With those profit margins, this is shameful and disgusting. I was forced to throw out an insanely expensive meal for a box…a tiny, brown, recyclable take-out box….
Owners are clearly greedy and inconsiderate of the people paying their bills. Cheap business practices and self-interest over the interests of your clients means bye and never again. Please, give your business to anyone else. Cross Jane street, all of the business owners at wonderland are enjoying huge profits at the cost of unskilled, immature labour and poor treatment of their customers (first timer and...
Read moreCeder Fair Finally Added an Amazing Beautiful Restaurant To The Park! With how busy the park gets it’s nice to see that we’re getting investments in places that need them.
Lazy Bear Lodge:
You’ll probably get the fastest service here The Food is Great
You get a great portion for the fries - the sides are amazing (during the time I visited, I can confirm that Lazy Bear definitely does not feel like an ordinary theme park restaurant. This feels like a restaurant you’d see outside an amusement park)
For about 25/30 after tax you get one main, one biscuit, and a side.
The Restaurant itself is beautiful, the interior and exterior both really add to the frontier canada feel!
To conclude I really hope that Cedar Fairs adds or renovates more restaurants at the park and I can’t wait to check out the restaurant in summer
P.S. The Dining Plan works here...
