Among these, the Behemoth stands out as one of the most exhilarating experiences the park has to offer. This hypercoaster, which opened in May 2008, has consistently been a top draw for thrill-seekers and roller coaster enthusiasts from around the world. #### Design and Structure The Behemoth is a steel roller coaster designed by the renowned Swiss manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard. It was the first hypercoaster in Canada, boasting impressive statistics that make it a must-ride for any coaster fan. The ride's track stretches 5,318 feet in length and reaches a height of 230 feet at its highest point. The initial drop is a breathtaking 75 degrees, sending riders plummeting 230 feet at speeds of up to 77 miles per hour. The Behemoth features a series of airtime hills, sweeping turns, and high-speed helixes, all designed to provide a smooth yet thrilling ride experience. The orange and yellow track stands out against the skyline, beckoning visitors with the promise of an unforgettable adventure. #### The Ride Experience From the moment you board the Behemoth, the anticipation begins to build. The trains are designed with open-air seating, giving riders an unobstructed view of their surroundings and enhancing the sense of speed and freedom. The ride begins with a slow climb up the 230-foot lift hill. As you ascend, the anticipation grows, and you can feel your heart rate increase with each passing second. Once you reach the top, you have a brief moment to take in the stunning view of the park and the surrounding area before you plunge down the first drop. The sensation of weightlessness is immediate and thrilling. This initial drop is followed by a series of airtime hills that give riders the feeling of floating out of their seats – a signature feature of hypercoasters. The ride's layout includes several high-speed turns and banked curves, maintaining the adrenaline rush throughout the duration. One of the standout elements is the hammerhead turn, which provides a quick change in direction and a surge of g-forces. The Behemoth's finale features a set of tightly packed airtime hills that keep the excitement levels high right until the very end. #### Theming and Atmosphere While the Behemoth may not have an intricate theme like some other coasters, its appeal lies in its pure, unadulterated thrill factor. The ride's name and design evoke images of a colossal, powerful creature, and the experience certainly lives up to that imagery. The bright orange and yellow color scheme adds to the visual impact, making the coaster a prominent feature of the park's skyline. The queue line for Behemoth is well-designed, offering glimpses of the ride's towering hills and high-speed maneuvers as you wait. The anticipation builds as you watch other riders' reactions, adding to the overall excitement. The ride's station is efficiently managed, ensuring that the wait time is reasonable even on busy days. #### Safety and Comfort Safety is a top priority at Canada's Wonderland, and the Behemoth is no exception. The ride features state-of-the-art safety systems and is regularly inspected to ensure it meets all safety standards. I wanna share my experience with this Rollercoaster. It first was a bit nervous from my experience with Ghoster Coaster when I was younger. When I revisited the park Eleven years later I rode Ghoster coaster again and then found rollercoasters less scary. With myself not anxious about rollercoasters, I then got interested in trying this ride so I watched a bunch of POV videos of this ride and didn’t look that scary from video and my friends all said it was fun. So from all the videos I’ve watched, I tried this ride to see what it was like and ended up really liking it and rode it Seven more times that day. I like when the train goes up the hill, you get a good view of Vaughan Mills and all the shops and condos nearby the park. When the ride drops, it comes down very smoothly and it brings you up and down, then curves and brings you up and down once more and then turns around and then done and it’s also not bumpy which I like. I feel like the manufacturers Bolliger and Mabillard are one of the best and safest manufacturers of rollercoasters. I also like how this ride also has a single riders lane and single riders lane is about a ten to fifteen minute wait compare to an hour wait on the regular line. All in all, this is a great thrill seeker for those who are tourists or who lives in the area. This rollercoaster dose seem scary when it goes up the hill but after, it’s very fun and smooth. This rollercoaster is highly recommended if anyone vists Canadas wonderland!

Behemoth is absolutely my favorite coaster at Canada's Wonderland. I've ridden many a hyper coaster and this one is one of my favorites. As usual the ride is incredibly comfy with body conforming clamshell restraints that give lots of room for airtime. There's also a cool sign outside, and the ride is near other thrill rides like Psyclone and Sledgehammer, so you get a plaza of big colorful modern rides, and the vibes are cool. The coaster itself is amazing. Butter smooth, well paced, and forceful. The first half has a great first drop and a forceful hammerhead turn. The real highlight is the four big airtime hills, three of which you experience back to back, and they give you soaring floater air. The setting near and over the water is very nice, too. The second half isn't as good, but only because the big airtime hills are the best part of the ride, and not because it's anything to scoff at. After the brakes you do a forceful downwards spiral, followed by another upwards spiral that leads to a twisted drop and a final small airtime hill before the end of the ride. I think helixes and spirals improve any ride, especially one so focused on airtime like Behemoth. It gives a nice balance to the layout and makes it more varied. Behemoth doesn't have a dull moment. It's not fast paced or too intense for the average rider, but it keeps its steady pace without missing a beat. This makes for a well rounded thrill ride that will keep you screaming for more.

Best hyper coaster ever, seriously, the airtime, and even though it's layout is quite lame, in fact so lame you can describe it in a sentence (2 drops, turn around as a drop, 4 drops, double helix, 2 drops done.) Yet this coaster provides an amazing view of the splash works, where you can see a ton of people. This is as fast as you can go with hyper coasters, great job B&M, and cedar fair thanks for buying canada's wonderland in 2006 and building this coaster in 2008 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
