As a first time mom to a newborn here's my experience at Wonderland and specifically the Tim Hortons at Wonderland on Saturday July 23.
Wonderlands website advertises that they're baby friendly and that most of their restaurants will help warm up milk. The problem here is that while their park is open at 10am their restaurants were not . The only one we found open was Tim Hortons, which led to problem #2.
What we learned is that the Tim Hortons at Wonderland is not one of the food vendors who helps warm milk, which is unfortunate given that they were the only ones open at 10am. Even more unfortunate is that their corporate practice is focused on profits and they will not assist.
My partner and I stopped in to Tim Hortons to buy a beverage and ask for a cup with hot water so we could warm up a bottle for our 2.5 month old baby and their staff refused to to help us. We spoke to the supervisor and her response was to go somewhere else because she was not allowed to give us a cup. I'm sorry, not allowed to provide a disposable paper cup with hot water to warm up milk for a baby?!
At 2.5 months babies don't drink water to stay hydrated, they drink milk and the supervisors action of refusing to give us a cup with hot water or warming up the milk for us, she denied hydration to our baby, on a hot summer day. There was a heat wave and Tim Hortons staff refused to help hydrate a baby.
Telling us to go somewhere else when no other food vendors were open yet, is heartless and disgusting.
We did end up finding a baby center at the park, but unfortunately the sink only had slightly warm water, and they didn't offer cups to put the water in (not that slightly warm water would warm up milk).
So here's my suggestion to Wonderland: List which vendors can help warm up milk and what time they're open at.
And my suggestion to the supervisor at Tim Hortons: A baby's life is more valuable than helping a corporation save a few cents on a cup. There's a heat wave in Toronto and babies drink milk to...

A female Indian employee (medium body, white skin) took my order, and also asked employee to put extra butter in croissant. When I got my order, I received a pain bagel instead of everything bagel so I told another female employee who gave me my order that I have received a wrong product. The female who took my order started arguing that I had ordered plain bagel not croissant. She started arguing in a rude way. She didn’t apologize for the mistake as well as she also didn’t showed a keen interest in her job. There was no smile on her face and no respect for the customers. I want to grab the attention of manager of this Tim location and want to let management know about such employee. In wonderland, I visited to many other food places and they are also busy like Tims but there employees do not behave like this particular employee. Such employees negatively affect the mood of visitors who come at Wonderland to have fun. This Tim’s employees need to be respectful and should show a friendly attitude instead of showing such disrespect behaviour. I hope that my comment will bring some changes. Thank you. I love...
Read moreWe came to this location with our 2 year old daughter and ordered 3 bagels toasted with butter around 12 noon and the lady we noticed burnt all of them really bad. My wife and I asked for just the one for our daughter to be made again as she can choke on it and would not eat it but the lady making all the food was really mean looking and giving very mean looks to us, They need to be trained and show great customer service like all other tim horton locations have as an requirement to be hired. I should have asked her to make all of them again if I had known she would be very disrespectful towards us and not even say I am sorry for this mistake I'll fix it for you and make us feel welcomed.
I also really don't like how they do not slice their bagels in half the week prior I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and was not sliced I can't believe how customers get treated at this specific location at wonderland. My wife did not want to make them more upset so she had the burnt bagel but in my opinion the lady should feel really embarrassed at the service she was giving/providing us mean stares say alot as well not...
