TL;DR: If you'd like a perfectly lackluster salad with subpar service, then this place is for you.
So I held off a day to see if I was being unreasonable or not before writing this review. I've ordered the Tuna Avocado salad before and liked it. Yesterday was totally different. I placed the order on the phone and the guy said 20 minutes. Okay it's lunch time, I get your busy and 20 minutes is reasonable. I was already on the way back to the office so I just swing by on my way. Get there maybe 5 minutes after the order was placed and there were two tables, already served. The front man was helping the lady in front of me and when he finished he asked what I would like. Told him I was picking up my salad and he said it would be a few minutes. I said I'd pay right then so I could just grab it and go once it was ready as I needed to get back to the office. He didn't punch anything in on the till and just said $18.00 which I thought was odd but I paid it anyway. Waited another 5 minutes on my phone before checking their menu and seeing that the salad was $14.99 plus tax, which is still more than a dollar less than the $18 than I was charged. When I finally got back and ate the salad (no cutlery in the bag) it just didn't bring the same enjoyment it brought me the first time. Maybe it was the experience. Maybe it was the fact that the dressing came out of one of those giant tubs and isn't actually homemade. Who knows. All I know is that I am unlikely to return to...
Read morefalafel is 6/10 Salad 2/10 (no house dressing or any dressing. Just plain lettuce/tomatoe /onion/carrot .) Menu says falafel comes with 3 salads (uber shows no salad option so we thought its a standard SET items of salad; we get 1 salad with the food) even if they hadnt seen any salads chosen, and system somehow messed our order up, no phone calls to check. They make their mind up for you 👌) So.. Variety 0/10 No tahini on falafels or on the side. 0/10 Laffa breads 7/10 All of that aside, when you call them to discuss 5he order before calling uber eats to avoid a bad rep for the business, the gentleman on the phone either knew zero about the most basic customer service principles or was having a terrible day. Not helpful at all. Suggestion? If this was my business (we have had franchise and concept food businesses in the past), i wouldn't want my customers to have the food without how it should be experienced. I. E. When you go to any drive through and order fries and burger, ketchup is automatically dropped in the bag... Your experience is SET the way it is intended. Its sad because we like to support local businesses but with the way we were treated, this shall be our 1st and last order here. All the best...
Read moreUsed to be great. Terrible owner and customer service! I've crunched on sand two different times in the tabbouleh in the laffa sandwich. The second time this happened, I called the owner. He was rude and argumentative. Only after I told him I that I wasn't interested in anything free, I was just letting him know so that he could fix the problem, did he become less defensive but he still wouldn't admit it. The next time I ordered by phone ahead of time, but when I arrived 10min. later he hadn't even started making my sandwich. The restaurant was empty so he wasn't busy. He admitted that he had just forgot. He was nice about it and gave me baklava to make up for the mistake. The next time I went there, his employee burned my laffa bread. When I asked for another one he said no there's nothing wrong with it. He offered me a pita instead but he wouldn't make me a new laffa bread. I said to the owner "Every time I come here lately, there are problems." he said " You don't have to eat here if you don't like it". Well, after giving this place chance after chance to improve...I'm finally taking his advice. I will never go there again. There are many better places around like Mr. Zagros and...
