This is the third different place I’ve tried a mixed or beef doner sandwhich/pita. The first two places were so big and full that they pretty much exploded and there was just so much meat.

If you look at their pita photos they’re all so jam packed that you can see all the stuff inside and they look to be at least 3-4” thick. The one in my photo was almost flat, like holding one of those tiny happy meal burgers. It was so empty that the opening where they put the stuff in was closed I had to spin it around a few times to find where they put the stuff in from.

The mixed pita I had at Nefis was not full. It was probably 70-80% full. But most importantly, there was barely any meat. More than half the sandwhich I was just eating bread with veggies and sauce.

The sauces they have were very good, especially the house sauce and spicy sauce. The veggies were nice and fresh. But with as much competition around the GTA you can’t be charging the same price as most places and giving not even half the amount of meat. I was searching for the meat like it was Waldo.

I distinctly remember that at doner station kabob and champion doner there was just so much meat I was wondering how these people were making any money.

Nefis, you have a good product and the people I spoke to were pleasant. You just need to work on proportions. I would advise you to check out at least one of those places I’ve mentioned above to see how a proper doner is supposed to be filled. And no, those places weren’t just loading me up with whatever they had at the end of the day; I was at both locations during...

Absolutely phenomenal doner plate, almost up to par with the ones I had in Germany!

I came here for lunch at around 2 pm on a weekday after hitting the gym. The restaurant was pretty busy, but it didn't take long to order. I got a chicken doner plate for $19 everything included.

Cutlery and complimentary pita bread is provided if you choose to dine in! It's a relatively small restaurant with about 5 tables.

I was blown away by how delicious everything was! The meat, veggies, and pita bread were all so fresh. Everything complimented each other perfectly, and the portion size was HUMONGOUS. I could barely move after finishing the whole thing!

Overall, a very kind and generous establishment. Will definitely be coming...

Highly recommend getting the beef doner wrap. Reason #1 the bread for the wrap is homemade baked fresh in-house once you order. Reason #2 they put the beef, toppings and sauce in a bowl and mix everything before it goes into the freshly made wrap (they do not do this if you order the pita or sandwich). Make sure to try the sweet chili hot sauce, it is sweet, mildly spicy and adds tonnes of flavour to your experience. I also get extra garlic sauce.

Reason #3 GREAT VALUE, the wrap was loaded and the size of a forearm.

Lentil Soup was good, comes with white or whole wheat pita and a lemon.

Also got 3 Adana kebabs which were flavourful and juicy. Tip: get the garlic and hot sauces on the side for...
