I came to Pur & Simple expecting a quick, casual breakfast and ended up being stuck there for nearly two hours. From the moment we walked in, the experience was disorganized and frustrating. We waited around 10–15 minutes just for someone to acknowledge us at the table, and nearly left before even placing an order. The service throughout was extremely slow. Our server seemed disengaged, barely checked on us, and we had to ask three different staff members just to get our bill and a takeout box. I had a client scheduled shortly after and ended up running late due to the unnecessary delay.
What stood out most was the lack of leadership. There were people waiting at the front to be seated including us and two men who appeared to be the owner or manager were just standing near the entrance chatting, completely ignoring the situation. Rather than stepping in to help or make guests feel welcome, they simply watched while the overwhelmed staff struggled to keep up. It gave off an unprofessional, disorganized vibe from the moment we arrived. The food was average nothing memorable and certainly not worth the long wait or poor service. I’ve been to the Barrie location and had a much better experience, which highlights the inconsistency between franchise locations. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning...
Read morePur & Simple has quickly become one of my top go-to spots for breakfast and brunch in Woodbridge. The moment you walk in, the place gives off a warm, cozy vibe with a clean and modern aesthetic — perfect for catching up with friends, a relaxed weekend outing, or even a solo coffee break.
The food is consistently impressive. Their burgers are way better than you'd expect from a breakfast place — juicy, well-seasoned, and satisfying. The coffee is smooth, strong, and served hot — exactly how it should be. Their waffles are light, crispy on the outside, and just the right amount of sweet, especially when paired with their fresh fruit or syrup options. The omelettes are another standout — generous portions, fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked every time.
Service is friendly and efficient. Staff are welcoming and always ready to accommodate special requests or make recommendations. Even during busy hours, things run smoothly, and you don’t feel rushed.
Overall, it’s a spot that balances quality, comfort, and great food really well. Whether you're into sweet breakfasts, hearty meals, or just a solid coffee, Pur & Simple delivers. Highly...

We recently visited the new Pure and Simple Brunch location and had a bit of a mixed experience.
The food was a highlight, the Waffle and Fruit was crisp, fresh, and beautifully presented, and Riri’s Coconut Crunch was absolutely delicious, with great flavor and texture. Those two dishes really stood out. The plain pancake was just okay not the best we’ve had, a bit bland compared to the rest.
Service-wise, things started off awkward. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty when we walked in, we were told there was a waiting list. It didn’t make sense, and only after another staff member quietly told the hostess did she seat us. When we left, plenty of tables were still open a strange first impression.
That said, once we were seated, our server Marie was excellent kind, attentive, and efficient. She definitely made the rest of the experience much better.
Overall, the food (especially the waffle and Riri’s) was worth it, and Marie’s service was fantastic but the front-of-house experience needs some improvement to match the quality of...
