We had group lunch at this restaurant. Food was fair. Customer service was Horrible. One deviated order from menu by requesting salad instead of rice. The server started shaking her head (no smile, looks disappointed) . Salad was served anyway. Payment was billed in 2 payments with automatic 15% tip even we preferred individual billing. Cashier said they’re busy. Understandable if indeed busy but restaurant was not even half full. If only cashier explained nicely with smile, the group would understand the situation and will generously give a tip but she wasn’t. Staff must undergo customer service training. We will not go back to this place and wouldn’t recommend this at all.

July 15 2025 Update: The owner’s responses say it all. Just like the front desk, instead of closing the conversation with a compromise ( a smile and friendly explanation) then everyone should be back to business as usual. We’re professionals and no intention to defame a business . Tip is not mandatory and we always give to good services. . Service fee can be charged. Your receipt says Tip. Where is the principle? We may not go back but we still wish you good business. Please serve the community with good service consistently…

With your update, you are making TIP as Mandatory. We live in Ontario. Please review

Though customer service was the main concern and not about giving tip as we are always generous, it will be worth having a quick chat with a colleague, a legal expert, to help us understand about the automatic gratuity charges that says tip on a receipt on unreserved casual lunch for 9 people. This is the first time experience for all of us....

Do not order from them on door dash. They waited 40 minutes, accepted the order the dasher got there, and then they canceled the order on me and closed the store.. They're lazy, and they don't wanna work. Simple as that. Will nit be giving this buisness any more of my money.

Edit: since they want to call me and leave a voice message saying to get my facts straight they very much are. Next time, cancel the order instead of making people wait 30+ minutes until the store is about to close to cancel it.

Better yet, why don't you actually call door dash and get them to take your page off their website instead of sitting here calling me.

I'll leave you a picture of past orders I have from you so the not on doordash doesn't make very much sense. Maybe if you fix the issue, there won't be an issue.

2nd edit OHHH okay, so now it's your customers' fault for not checking your Google page before ordering on doordash? Maybe instead of blaming EVERYONE else, again pick up the phone and demand doordash to take the page down, again to lazy to do that but not lazy enough to respond to every bad review you get and blame it on something or someone else other than yourselves?

I'll say it again, fix the problem and there won't be a problem, leaving rude voicemails to their customers who leave a bad review is the way they'd rather go though and putting a little announcement on their Google maps page fixes the issue in...

BEST NO FRILLS ASIAN RESTAURANT IN ONTARIO.

They do Viet, Thai, and Chinese perfectly.

I can go on and on about each dish but I’m not here to preach. I invite you to go yourself and experience the authenticity. I will continue adding more photos each time i order a new item.

Flavours are consistent. They use quality ingredients and have held this standard for years. You get reasonable portions and it won’t break the bank. I eat here at least twice a week and I’m always beyond satisfied.

Food tip:

  1. if you like spicy add extra spice to the chicken wings
  2. get a smoothie, idc which flavour , they’re all good
  3. their specialty noodles are guarantee a hit (bun bo hue, bun rieu, pho sate) so bomb
  4. no credit cards - keep food prices low
  5. they get busy** takeout or dine in doesn’t matter, so CALL AHEAD you have been warned

UPDATE* 17/04/24

  1. I got the Tom yum soup with CLEAR NOODLES but due to my excitement I forgot to take a photo and just beasted the whole thing , definitely worth a try to substitute the clear noodles. It soaks the Tom yum so nice chefs kiss
  2. I got 2 drinks this time cuz I was thirsty. SOUR SOP is a must. Then the server recommend I try the strawberry SLUSH. guys THIS IS UR SIGN TO TRY THAT. It’s like a strawberry sorbet totally delish I can drink...

This place has a good selection of Vietnamese dishes and a smaller selection of Thai food as well... We got the extra large special pho with all the meats, and the rice paper spring rolls. The spring rolls came with a sweet sauce with peanuts, and tasted exceptionally good. The filling paired really well with the sauce, such that the rolls were filling but still light and fresh tasting. The pho was also filling and tasted really good, although there is a decent amount of msg in there, evident due to the insatiable amount of thirst felt soon after the meal. Still, I'd give this restaurant a good thumbs up and recommend it for potential customers. Be advised, the parking situation in the small plaza is not the greatest, but we came on a Sunday afternoon and there was still enough room to park. The atmosphere was fine, and as is the case with many other Vietnamese spots, they do not accept credit card.
