Since we have our new mayor, Steven Del Duca, we seen crime go up by leaps and bounds. We NEVER see him on any news channel explaining what he is doing to make our city safe. Let alone, ongoing, unfinished construction on many roads, increased traffic, and now, of all things, I can't even get a proper yard waste removal, or garbage collection without some kind of discrepancy. NOBODY in the city cares. LOOK at our line paintings this year on on our primary roads IE Dufferin, Centre, Bathurst and others. There is paint everywhere when they were doing the markings, but was told they will fade over time. So, NOBODY cares as they fill their pockets with taxpayer's money. Even the new signage they are putting at Dufferin and Peter Rupert for the new development. It's been several months to make a corner gardenscape. PLEASSSSSSSSSSSE get your act together. It's August 30, 2024... see, if at all, the ShityHall gets back with a valid response instead of a BOT to every...
Read moreDO NOT REACH OUT TO ANIMAL CONTROL (AC) for help with the dog allowed outside to bark at all hours, including 11:30 pm, 3:30 am, and 6:20 am, which disrupts your sleep and affects your quality of life. Enduring the relentless barking of the neighbour’s 36 kg dog for months and months and months (even after many, many talks with the owners) has given us first-hand knowledge that AC and by-law officers will only exacerbate the problem by siding with the irresponsible dog owner and emboldening them to allow the dog to bark at all hours of the day and night as long as it’s in short spurts. AC will ensure the dog owner understands how long the dog can bark. Also, know that AC is as wrong to take this stance as the neighbour is inconsiderate. A B.C. Supreme Court ruling recently upheld a barking dog case decision and a $20,000 fine. You will only restore your sanity and peace by taking matters into...
Read moreI wish I could give 0 stars to this city hall and their useless employees who can’t help the citizens. I parked my truck on my driveway, and the two wheels were just slightly touching the street. I got a fine for that, even though I went to a hearing with evidence (a photo of my neighbor parking the exact same way—with their permission to take the photo). The judge saw my evidence and said, “I don’t know why you got fined for this; you’re parked just like everyone else.”
Yet today, I got another parking ticket for the same reason. I went to city hall hoping to get a parking permit, but they told me they don’t sell any. Instead, they told me to either get a smaller car or build a bigger driveway. They offered no real solution. We pay so much in taxes in Vaughan… for what? To pay these useless employees?
