Aug 2025 - i'm a glutton for punishment! What can I say? My child likes the bacon, turkey sandwiches. Tried ordering sounach egg white bites ... nope. Protein for meat eaters - CHECK. Protein for nonmeat eaters (hint, that doesn't make us "vegetarians" only 🤦♀️) - NOPE. And no, cheese is NOT a protein, it's a FAT. Oh ya ... I get its 8pm, but there was only 1 car ahead of me and after 3 minutes of the driver dithering with their order, I finally went in the resto. 2 people, both managing the windows before noticing life on the other side of the walk in counter. I believe Tim Hortons no longer wishes to provide any customer service, let alone good customer service. Yes, I see TH acknowledged the initial review. Unfortunately, it's not the locations' fault that they are broken ... HQ is responsible for its brand's name, how its perceived & how it is valued. Very quickly ...it's been going downhill at every level for years.
I'm supposed to guess what's on the menu via the drive thru .... asking what are the sandwiches, dude at mic repeats it's all there, and nope ... baked goods, drinks & flat breads / meals .... no sandwiches. Tells me my options are for him to list them or come in. Ummmm, what's the point of offering drive thru? I've no idea if I even got the right sandwich, yet it's MY problem this location chooses to list only what it deems necessary. What's next? No prices? No pics? I haven’t been to Tim Hortons in ages and the attitude I received from an employee on the morning of Saturday, December 16, 2023, is beyond upsetting.
I went through the drive through to order a drink and something to eat. I told the employee I want a London Fog, but then I quickly changed my mind and told her that I actually want a steep tea with milk. Then, because I haven’t been to Timmie’s for so long I completely forgot what bagels they have and what can you make them with. The screen that shows the menu doesn’t say anything about the bagels. So I asked, what bagels do you have? With a heavy accent she told me all the bagels, but I completely missed it the first time and asked her to kindly repeat. She repeated and I chose the cheese bagel. I then asked her to remind me what can I make it with. At that point, the employee, what appears to be - lost it and said: “Mam! What do you mean what can you make it with? You don’t know what can you make it with? You can make it with this, that..”. I was shocked from this attitude. Isn’t it her job to explain what they have on the menu? Isn’t it her job to be polite and provide a positive experience? Why did I as a customer have to feel like I was annoying the employee with my honest, simple questions? I was very polite with her, it wasn’t busy at all at that moment and I didn’t have any cars behind me. I see no reason as to why my “extra” questions had to irritate this employee that much. Read moreABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I wish I could give this tim hortons 0 stars. Old woman who works at drive thru late night should be fired! My friend and I went to this tims at around 12:30 AM after a long day at work. The woman could not hear us on the machine so kept telling us to repeat order. Then when we came to the window there were FIVE Ice Capps waiting for us when we ordered only 2. We told her that is not what we ordered. She was adamant that we did. I told her there must have been a miscommunication BUT she refused to believe us. She demanded that we pay for the 5 ice capps and told us she heard us clearly (even though she told us she couldn't hear at the machine). I asked her why we would order 5 ice capps when there were only 2 people in the car? I told her to change the order and she told me she wouldn't and we would have to pay, while giving us an awful glare. What kind of customer service is this? Does Tim Hortons not allow employees to change the order? Disgusted at her behavior I told her to cancel the order. She gave us the most dirtiest look and did not respond. I had to tell her 6 times to cancel the order. She tauntingly told us we were playing her even though SHE was the one who got our order wrong. Then as we drove away (With no ice capps) I saw her take a picture of the back of our car. I have never been treated with such a horrible service before. I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS TIMS AGAIN.
