Disappointing Experience at Tim Hortons Drive-Thru
It is with regret that I find myself compelled to recount a series of disappointing encounters at the Tim Hortons drive-thru. Despite being a frequent patron, visiting at least three to four times a week, my recent experiences have left much to be desired.
The recurring issue revolves around a particular staff member, a lady who consistently handles orders at the drive-thru. From the onset, her manner of communication is abrasive, with an unnecessary volume that permeates every interaction. This loudness, coupled with a rushed demeanor, results in frequent errors and incomplete orders.
On multiple occasions, I've received incorrect items, such as receiving only one croissant despite ordering two. Additionally, there have been instances where I specifically requested a steeped tea, only to be handed coffee instead. The lack of attention to detail is concerning, especially considering the simplicity of the orders.
One particularly frustrating incident occurred when attempting to customize an order. Despite my clear instructions, the staff member seemed incapable of accommodating a simple modification without confusion and frustration. Even as I attempted to clarify, the response was met with impatience and annoyance.
The culmination of these experiences reached its peak during a recent visit when the staff member displayed overt frustration at the slightest deviation from the initial order. Rather than addressing the issue with professionalism, the encounter left me feeling unwelcome and undervalued as a customer.
Despite the convenience of its proximity to my workplace, I can no longer tolerate the consistently subpar service at this Tim Hortons location. Effective immediately, I have decided to patronize a different establishment, even if it means traveling a greater distance. The negative energy and incompetence displayed by this particular staff member have become intolerable and are not worth the convenience.
It is important to note that my dissatisfaction is solely directed towards the aforementioned staff member. In instances where I interacted with other team members in person, I found them to be courteous and helpful. It is unfortunate that the actions of one individual can tarnish the reputation of an otherwise reputable establishment.
I hope that Tim Hortons management takes heed of this feedback and addresses the issues plaguing their drive-thru service. As a loyal customer, I am disheartened by the decline in quality and professionalism, and I sincerely hope for improvement in the future. Until then, I bid farewell to this Tim Hortons location and seek solace elsewhere for my morning...
Read moreIt's pathetic that a coffee shop can run so poorly. Avoid this location at all costs!!!!
The customer service is so poor that I drive away there irritated having to deal with them. They get my orders wrong majority of the time. Almost every afternoon during the week I go there to get my decaf tea. I will end up with coffees or regular teas. I really do not understand the confusion.... And before I can even check that my order is right they're repeating themselves saying" Thanks have a good day", like they're rushing my out of the line.
They're rude and have no customer service skills. I get responses like "Yeh' and "mhmm" and "k" instead of "okay ma'am can I get you anything else? or "will that be all". They NEVER read my total to me, they never finish punching in the order so that I see my total before they tell me to drive up and then when I get to the window to count my change, they're huffing and puffing.
I have worked in the food industry since I was out of highschool so I know all about to treat customers and this just angers me. I don't know why it took me so long to complain about them but after my incident with them today, I complained to the corporate head office. Hopefully I can get some better service...
Read moreI understand they want quick turn-over but dear god do they ever rush you at the drive-thru. First, they don't even tell you the total price after you order, the just tell you to drive up. By the time you drive up, you barely have time to hand them your payment, they're already already having multiple people shoving your items out the window expecting you to take everything immediately. Then, instead of offering to bring out the terminal to pay if you're using credit or debit, they expect you to hand your card to them. Then comes the overall customer service where there are only about 2 ladies at that location that are actually friendly. Most other people who work there are extremely curt if you as a customer don't reciprocate their "rushed" way of doing things. I'm giving this location a 2 out 5 instead of a 1, simply because if you're buying inside the store, they're less inclined to rush you out the door. Drive thru though, it's just a...
