I strongly recommend avoiding this store. There are much better options for Indian and Pakistani grocery items, such as FreshCo, Longos, or even the Pakistani grocery store next door, all of which offer better pricing and good customer service. Additionally, the staff who are temporary workers are rude and provide poor customer service. This aligns with similar complaints from other customers per their reviews. I even shared my concerns directly with the owner, but he seemed unwilling to address the feedback.
Review Update: The owner's response below further reinforces the issue. He is clearly unwilling to take the feedback seriously, either as an opportunity to improve customer service or to address it with his staff. As mentioned earlier, the staff was rude during the interaction. At no point was the exchange polite, nor was the word "please" used when I was asked to remove items from the counter. The items in question were only placed there temporarily (for about 10 seconds) while I requested another staff member (who had no issues) to hold them as I picked up one more item. At any other store, this would not be an issue. I fail to see how rude and unfriendly service can be described as "exceptional...
Read moreCan Asia is popular store to have almost all Asian products in Vaughan at Jane street. I visited store today to buy some grocery. There was no one to control number of customer to enter in the store at a time, keeping in view the COVID 19 . Inside the store, maintaining 2 meters distance was very difficult. I didn’t observe any one doing sanitation to used carts. However I did notice line in front of cashier with some distance. But it was extremely disappointing, when cashier tried to put a dropped item in a plastic bag of customer with out sanitation. The staff must be trained, in case any item is dropped on floor should be cleaned/ sanitized before giving it to customer. In current COVID 19 environment, number of customer in side the store at one time must be controlled in order to maintain 2 meter distance and sanitization must be carried out on...
Read moreGot lamb and I was charged for 2.7 pounds and honestly it dint look like 2.7 pounds I had my doubts since the last few times I got meat from the store, so when I reached home today I weighed the meat it’s literally a pound less, even after trimming the fat off I don’t believe the meat can be a pound less. Not sure if this happened to others, I’m gonna save myself a trip and go to meat stores that have fair prices.
edit after the store response-
Do you seriously expect a customer to keep a bill a month after posting a review? And FYI the meat is weighed before it’s cut to smaller pieces never after, I’ve been shopping here since 2024 and not once was the weigh-in was done after. Don’t write things just for the sake of it. The store owner really needs to check how things work in your store before responding to...
