We live in the area and never actually had the chance to try this restaurant. When we went in there wasn't many people and the set up was a bit confusing. We weren't sure if it was a self sit or we had to wait to be seated. When we finally got seated we eventually ordered and the food was amazing. The taste was great. We got the veal penne and the fettuccine alfredo and I asked them to add chicken.
We only got water and the cups were half full. We did wait quiet some time to get the food. But it was worth the wait. As we finished eating I have to wave someone down for a to go box and a desert menu. The entire time, no one asked if was needed anything nor did they gill up the glass of water. One of the waitress gave me the menu and noted the desert section was on the bottom and didn't get a to go box. We waited over 15 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge we wanted to order desert. We got frautrated when we realized there was 4 waitresses and 2 of the girls were on their phones. My fiance eventually went up to the girls and asked for the bill as we just wanted to leave. The girls were rude and when they came with the bill she didn't say a single word. I had to again ask for a to go box. When we were done paging, she grapped the debit machine, asked if we needed a receipt and walked away with nothing else to be said.
The food was amazing. The service was horrible. Will...
Read morePlease take this review with a grain of salt. We came on a Monday evening around 5pm. Had a reservation but didn't need it as there was only 2 other tables occupied. Normally this would be a warning sign to me but it IS Monday, probably the least popular night to eat out unless you're in the industry. We were a table of four, 2 adults and 2 toddlers. There was enough space for the stroller and a high chair, but just. Service was good. We ordered the Calamari platter, Salami Antipasti, Penne ala Vodka and a Margherita pizza. Food was very good. Calamari was a generous portion of calamari, smelt and shrimp with marinara sauce for $20. The Salami Antipasti was a good portion of cured meats, parmigiana and olives - $13. The penne was a more than healthy portion - $17. Sauce was creamy and pasta cooked well. I say again, a very healthy portion. Margarita pizza was good - $17. Not the best I've had. Crust was crispy but lacked the chew I would expect from a pizza and pasta place. Overall a good experience. Will have to update my review when we visit on a busier night. *Penne came after and forgot to take a picture. Probably the best dish of the...
Read morerecently had the displeasure of dining at this restaurant during my visit to Canada. The experience was incredibly disappointing due to the poor service we received. The staff was slow, disinterested, and unresponsive to our needs.
We had to wait a long time for our food to arrive, and when it finally did, it was cold and unappetizing. The presentation was also poor, with little attention paid to the aesthetics of the dish.
To make matters worse, the restaurant was dirty and poorly maintained. The tables and floors were sticky, and the overall atmosphere was unpleasant and uninviting. We felt uncomfortable and unwelcome throughout our time there.
As a tourist in Canada, I was hoping to enjoy some delicious food and experience the country's renowned hospitality. Unfortunately, this restaurant failed to deliver on both counts. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and suggest looking for other options in the...
