The slowest Tims I have ever been to. Unfortunately I live close so this location is convenient, but they are unreasonably slow.
If the lineup is long, I don’t bother. With 3-4 cars in the drive through, you can wait 20 mins. They don’t react to mobile orders until you are there waiting for 5+mins, then say “oh what’s your order” ? The whole point is to have it ready. Recently, the drive through scanner wasn’t working (they discovered during my order) so they couldn’t scan my points or my Tim’s card for payment.
They offered no solution, no apology, no sympathy, just told me I “had to pay with cash” and had “no choice”. The other scanners were working, but the option to pay at those was not offered.
They are never apologetic and often rude. I wrote this entire review while waiting in the drive through with 3 cars ahead of me. I ordered a tea and there was no large order ahead of me.
Edit: it has been several months and I maintain my opinion that this is the slowest Tim’s I’ve ever visited. I’ve waited over 15 mins with only 2 cars ahead of me, and I only ever order a tea and the odd baked good. They’ve started to get my order wrong 75% of the time, and they’ve started playing with their drive through times by tripping up the scanner, waving you through, asking you to wait, etc.
Further, I visited with a newborn in a stroller and waited at the register, the cashier left the register and went to the opposite end and asked me what my order was. I let her know but she couldn’t hear me (understandably, she was quite far), she started screaming at me that she couldn’t hear me but didn’t take a step closer. Instead she yelled at me to come to HER by pushing the stroller through the people waiting in line and across the restaurant just to repeat my order.
At this point, nothing surprises me.
Edit #2: I once again got the wrong order after avoiding this location for months (I shouldn’t have even gone, that’s on me. This place is terribly run). Service was bad, manager (Alina?) was to “call me later because she’s on the phone right now” so I was asked to leave my name and number only to not receive a call (as expected).
Also, I ordered a steeped tea, got a coffee. Came back and asked for the steeped tea that I ordered (and paid for), gave them the coffee back, and was told I’m getting something for the inconvenience because “the tea costs more” (the tea I paid for. That’s what I was getting for the inconvenience. The tea I paid for but I had to wait in line twice and return to the store).. what the ..?
Also, don’t be fooled by the replies, this store doesn’t deal with their corporate complaints either. You “give them more information” and they ignore you.
Save yourself the disappointment. Go literally...

They never once have had French onion soup and various other Tim Hortons staples as well even though they are supposed to have them. While this was an inconvenience and not a big issue, what happened recently was unacceptable behaviour. I went to pay with my Amex and the chip didn’t work, so I went to swipe it like many retailers require with Amex in Canada. The lady rudely told me they don’t accept Amex, which is completely false. I have paid Amex at that location and many others 100s of times. So respecting the restaurants decision of not wanting to take Amex, I used visa instead of swiping my Amex. Now after I used the visa, the lady gave me my food after she saw it approved. I went on my merry way. However today when I went through the drive through, she threw the receipt in my face of my declined Amex saying that yesterday I did not pay yesterday. I asked her why she gave me my food then yesterday after I had paid with my visa which she ignored and talked over me saying I “didn’t pay” and that she “just wanted to show me”. This behaviour is extremely rude and unacceptable and is not how you treat another human being. It was extremely embarrassing to be talked to in this manner with multiple other Tim Hortons employees overhearing this. If there is a billing issue, the customer should be informed before receiving their order, not talked to in a dehumanizing way the next day that they did not pay. Read moreI came to the store at 3555 Major Mackenzie Dr Vaughan around 2:20pm on drive thru. My order was a small chai tea, a medium ice coffee with lite ice and X large coffee double double. When I was pulling up on drive through, the person taking orders raised their hand on drive thru and told me to stop my car and not proceed to the window although there where no one standing on drive thru or even a car there. When the person who took the order raised their hand out again, this time to give the hand gesture to come to the window, I asked why was I asked not to come to the window as this didn’t make any sense, the person at the window said the order wasn’t ready and the time was going. Not so sure what they were referring too. I tried to ask for a receipt as this was really weird, they mentioned something about a time running as order wasn’t ready and wanted me to wait before coming to the window. Not sure how not driving up would speed up the process.
Once I got onto the main street, I noticed that the iced coffee didn’t have ice and my coffee didn’t taste right so went l back to the store. I was just frustrated and asked to speak with a manager or supervisor. The person there told me that none of them were there. After telling them what happened, they remade the coffee and the iced coffee with ice this time. When asked, how come there is no manager or supervisor at the store, then they admit that there is a supervisor. I asked several times to speak with the supervisor but the person at the front refused to call the supervisor. I then asked for my receipt from drive thru, the guy tried to look for it and couldn’t find the receipt and told me that I can’t get a receipt. I would like to be contacted...
