What a Bagel - What a Place!!! This is my favourite local spot for breakfast or lunch, and it never disappoints. On my latest visit, I treated myself to a custom omelette with cheddar cheese, onions, and chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. I love that they let you pick three ingredients for your omelette without extra charges—most places barely let you have one or two before adding extra charges. My server, Shaun, was great - super friendly and attentive. We chatted about how their omelettes are a standout on the menu - they are “notoriously good”. The omelette was perfect - served quickly, fresh, and piping hot. (Pro tip: give it a minute to cool before diving in!) The home fries were crispy and flavorful, and the toast rounded out the meal beautifully. I left feeling completely satisfied, but not without grabbing a few of their famous bagels to take home. This place makes the best bagels in the city, and their bakery is loaded with fresh-baked goodies. I’ve also had their catered meals before, and those are just as good as their dine-in. This place is a total gem—I’ll definitely be back soon!

I was here for the first time in Canada Day, which I think made an exception for the lack of crowds here, because I am sure that on any other Sunday, this cute restaurant is always filled. the two drinks were standard, made fresh! the meals themselves were amazing fresh and tasty. I got the omelette with peppers, mushrooms and onions and it was so delicious. the bagel that came in the side is such a bonus, it was fresh and I got to choose the cream cheese to put on it. my girlfriend’s lox was also just as fresh and the diy bagel had a generous portion of all ingredients. we also shared the challah french toast because it is a must according to my gf and I will also be living by that - definitely a must, the challah makes it soft and the flavour is packed. a really good sweet side to have with a savoury bagel platter. I will definitely be visiting what a bagel again and if I can get a seat, the restaurant space was so nice and comfortable!

The eatery is located right beside the bakery so the bread or bagels that are ordered as part of one's meal have been freshly baked. The menu has a huge number of selections for all tastes. The food is delicious and prepared quickly, without long waits. Service is excellent, quick and efficient. Several salad options, with large portions, and very delicious. Coffee can be refilled as many times as one would like. Delicious custom omelettes. Wait times can be somewhat longer on certain holidays (eg. Father's day), or around lunchtime (there is a high school across the road), so you need to come early. You will often run into someone you know from the neighbourhood and surrounding area. A wonderful place for breakfast or lunch. Highly recommended!

As a bagel connoisseur, I was at ease with my meal however the abhorrent service was a vast problem. The lady who constructed my bagel seemed like she woke up on the wrong side of the bed. From the start of my visit, she had a constant attitude and lowkey gave me death stares :0 She denied that there were garlic bagels but with a little bit of convincing she opened her eyes and realized there were in fact GARLIC bagels. Secondly, when she started constructing my bagel she went at it and didn't even bother to ask how I would like the bagel I WAS PURCHASING. I wanted it toasted but that seemed to be a problem in her eyes. Then, she made me pay without the bagels being completed. This did not seem to be a problem until she did not let me get my preferred cream cheese because she rushed the process and did not charge me for my preferred cream cheese. With all this in account her coworkers fed off her negative energy and started treated my friends and I, as we were just some pieces of garbage. To end off my "lovely" experience she decided to kick me out!!!!! because "the store was full". Thankfully the bagel was not too shabby. So like wtvr but she was rude both times I came in. She is lucky my mother was not present in this situation. Thank you and possibly smile...

The employees are usually rude and have attitude. They lack situational awareness of their line. There has been more than one occasion where they have helped whoever comes up to them without considering who’s been waiting patiently in line for their turn.

When inquired why a gentleman who was behind me was served before me, the staff member said he just needed to pay. That would be understandable, but we both previously waited in line while several others who still needed to have their bagels prepared etc. were served. When I got to the counter to just order and pay for a black coffee, he was then cashed out before me. If he just needed to pay and that was truly the reason for him being served first, then he should have just been cashed out way earlier. I understand if a person who just needs to pay can bypass the line, but be consistent with how customers are served. Otherwise, a simple apology for accidentally skipping a customer would suffice.

Either a better system needs to be implemented, the staff need to be trained to monitor the queue and serve accordingly, or some sign needs to be put up to just approach whenever a staff member is free for service.

On the bright side, they’re convenient and their...

I rarely give out a one star review, but this is literally the worst place to make a purchase right now, during the pandemic. Many reasons: There's a signage on the front door that states the store has a capacity of 5 people at the moment (the space is SUPER small right now); however, people had no regard for this and there were easily 8-10 people inside at a time. The employees also didn't care to help regulate this, despite a good 4-5 people working who could have spoken up. People were inside the store with no face coverings! Again, employees didn't make any effort to voice this to the customer(s). Signage within the store requests for 2m distance between customers, as per social distancing recommendations, but customers have no regard for this and will just standing right beside you, even if there's space and the option to stand back.

Overall, it felt like a very unsafe experience despite me being there for only 5-10 minutes to grab a sandwich. On the surface it looks like they're trying to oblige the rules and regulations but reality is, it's lacking in so many aspects. Will no be returning, at least not during...
