As a bagel connoisseur, I was at ease with my meal however the abhorrent service was a vast problem. The lady who constructed my bagel seemed like she woke up on the wrong side of the bed. From the start of my visit, she had a constant attitude and lowkey gave me death stares :0 She denied that there were garlic bagels but with a little bit of convincing she opened her eyes and realized there were in fact GARLIC bagels. Secondly, when she started constructing my bagel she went at it and didn't even bother to ask how I would like the bagel I WAS PURCHASING. I wanted it toasted but that seemed to be a problem in her eyes. Then, she made me pay without the bagels being completed. This did not seem to be a problem until she did not let me get my preferred cream cheese because she rushed the process and did not charge me for my preferred cream cheese. With all this in account her coworkers fed off her negative energy and started treated my friends and I, as we were just some pieces of garbage. To end off my "lovely" experience she decided to kick me out!!!!! because "the store was full". Thankfully the bagel was not too shabby. So like wtvr but she was rude both times I came in. She is lucky my mother was not present in this situation. Thank you and possibly smile...
Read moreThe employees are usually rude and have attitude. They lack situational awareness of their line. There has been more than one occasion where they have helped whoever comes up to them without considering who’s been waiting patiently in line for their turn.
When inquired why a gentleman who was behind me was served before me, the staff member said he just needed to pay. That would be understandable, but we both previously waited in line while several others who still needed to have their bagels prepared etc. were served. When I got to the counter to just order and pay for a black coffee, he was then cashed out before me. If he just needed to pay and that was truly the reason for him being served first, then he should have just been cashed out way earlier. I understand if a person who just needs to pay can bypass the line, but be consistent with how customers are served. Otherwise, a simple apology for accidentally skipping a customer would suffice.
Either a better system needs to be implemented, the staff need to be trained to monitor the queue and serve accordingly, or some sign needs to be put up to just approach whenever a staff member is free for service.
On the bright side, they’re convenient and their...
Read moreI rarely give out a one star review, but this is literally the worst place to make a purchase right now, during the pandemic. Many reasons: There's a signage on the front door that states the store has a capacity of 5 people at the moment (the space is SUPER small right now); however, people had no regard for this and there were easily 8-10 people inside at a time. The employees also didn't care to help regulate this, despite a good 4-5 people working who could have spoken up. People were inside the store with no face coverings! Again, employees didn't make any effort to voice this to the customer(s). Signage within the store requests for 2m distance between customers, as per social distancing recommendations, but customers have no regard for this and will just standing right beside you, even if there's space and the option to stand back.
Overall, it felt like a very unsafe experience despite me being there for only 5-10 minutes to grab a sandwich. On the surface it looks like they're trying to oblige the rules and regulations but reality is, it's lacking in so many aspects. Will no be returning, at least not during...
