Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Vaughan

We went here on a Sunday night with a large order of 10 subs, each customized differently. Anjali and Kajol were super fast and accurate. We usually go to Subway but this experience convinced us to ditch that for Mr Sub. Here are all the reasons:

1. Subway staff penny pinch on the veggies and even the cheese, while even with a large time-pressed order, these folks put a decent amount of every item. Despite that, Mr. Sub prices are similar (which makes sense because the veggies aren't a big cost for them)

2. Subway always has only a small choice of breads actually available from what they advertise. This time, even though it was Sunday night, they had all of the bread choices available.

3. It is Canadian! One more reason to support our own businesses instead of a US franchise that seems to vacuum higher profits away instead of providing a good...

This is the best Mr. Sub I have been to, and I’ve been eating at many since the late 1970s.

The food is always fresh, of superior quality, and of course absolutely delicious. They are quite generous with toppings, and take extra care preparing the sandwiches. This next point may seem trivial, but the drinks are always nice and cold, which is exactly how I like them.

They are also very mindful of social distancing and COVID restrictions. They are always cleaning and disinfecting the floor, tables, chairs, and countertops.

The owner, Binta, and her staff are positively amazing. They are courteous and friendly, and always greet me by name as soon as I walk through the door.

I highly recommend this Mr. Sub location, and I will always be a loyal customer.

Do not order from this location through apps or in store. The new owners and staff are a disgrace and disrespectful. What a shame as this used to be the better Mr.subs

Past 2 times they have put the wrong toppings and missed toppings I put in the app. Also pizza sub was supposed to come with a free order of tots which were missing. Any time there’s a promotion they do not value it. Called the store and the woman who could barely speak English just hung up the phone after I just wanted to notify them of the uber eats deal and missing items.

Avoid this this place it’s gone so down hill. If you order extra toppings don’t expect to get it. Expect some toppings that you didn’t order.

Customer service is unacceptable and unprofessional. The amount of fake 5 star reviews since new ownership red flag.
