We decided to try these guys out for a change and we regret it. At end of day lets get lets be real.. what does Israel know about Kebabs and Falafel n middle eastern food. Obviously experienced refined sophisticated world travellers know Turkish cuisine(being 100% #1 no comparion obviously), Armenian, and Lebanese cuisine is top setting benchmark when it comes to the wide array of fantastic endless middle eastern style kebabs and dishes. We were very very dissappointed. We ordered from skip dishes.. Extremely overpriced and very small tiny portions. Luckily we ordered 2 skewers and not 1(they call it 2 skewers worth but really there 2 skewers is like 1 REAL SKEWER) and $28 later. Ripoff. Extremely small portion of basmati rice..Like a palmfull of cooked rice..again perfect for a kids portion. They should learn a few things from the persians.. At least provide your customer a decent portion of rice..It costs you .25-50 cents at end of day. My god. Single skewer of there beef and chicken is a KIDS portion no exaggeration..we were shocked. There so called Israeli salad which is totally copied from the TURKS(they call its Choban Shepherds salad). Doesnt taste nearly remotely as good as the Turks make this phenomeal salad. It was horrible. Very ill poorly prepared. They should take some notes from the Turkish kitchen or a Turkish chef. Extremely bland very boring and needs MINT and the right olive oil and vinegar not that horrible typical salad dressed they use liek MeVaMe. The Falafal sandwhich was horrible..extremely heavy with LAffa. what a big mistake putting on all of those toppings that are not supposed to go with falafel. Ruined the whole taste flavour of the sandwich. Falafel sandwich is BEST with lettuce tomato and tahini. Nothing more! Very overprices resto. Extremely small portions. Im shocked at these reviews. Something doesnt add up. I will stick to the superior Turkish, Armo and lebanese and persian restaurants.. Nothing beats them at end of the day in every...
Read moreMeron to go, you are amazing!! We chose Meron to cater for a large party of 48 guests! Tom, who helped plan the menu, quantities, variety of food was very professional and I felt that his suggestions were perfect.
the quality and quantity of food was perfect with left overs for 4 people for a couple of days after the party.
The food was plenty and very tasty!
We’re definitely coming back for more and recommending meron to everyone!!!
Thank you for easy communications, easy order, and delicious food!
There is only one little thing: we live outside the delivery area and could not have the order delivered but it’s a small issue. The order was perfectly timed to be ready for the requested pick up time which is very important as it was nice and hot when it arrived.
Meron is definitely worth a try!!!
Ordered from here again for our large event in July 2024! As always delicious food, generous portions and...
Read moreFirst time I have ever posted a review but I felt that my experience at Meron today needs to be passed on . Unfortunately I do not understand how this restaurant has stayed in business for so long . The food is tasteless , the customers requests in preparation preference is completely ignored . They do not even attempt to apologize and fix the problem . The people behind the counter act like they are doing you a favour by selling you food. Moreover, after I paid and sat down to eat the guy at the cash came up to me and asked me for more money saying he by mistake charged me for a pita sandwich instead of a Lafa. The lafa was like chewing gum. The worst I have ever eaten . Meron it's time for either better customer service or time to shut your doors. There are plenty of Mediterranean restaurants today to eat at. Meron has gone down hill, just remember it takes a lifetime to build a business and just one day to...
