Cora Breakfast and Lunch — Restaurant in Vernon

Well we were in there Saturday at around 8:00 a.m. October 5 2024 we now know better to not step foot in that place on a Saturday. The food was not good. The service was completely a minus- 20. She didn't ask how everything was. We finished whatever we wanted to eat. She comes to the table without even asking us. If we'd would like anything else. She came to our table with the bill in one hand and the machine in her other hand. You can see the bill is on table beside my husbands left albow a long with every dirty dish. That's the best way to get us out that worked. We paid our bill and we left. We will never step foot in that place on a Saturday or a Sunday ,Ever our waitress couldn't get any more WORSE !!! AS YOU CAN TELL BY THIS PICTURE NONE OF OUR DISHES WERE TAKEN AWAY SHE IS THE WORST WAITRESS SO FAR AT CORA'S . MONDAY TO FRIDAY ONLY GET THE BEST FOOD AND WAITRESS AND WAITERS .SATURDAY AND SUNDAY NOT A HOPE IN HELL WILL WE EVER STEP FOOT IN THERE ON THE WEEKEND NO THANK YOU.!!!!!! All that waitress cared about was talking to her coworker. We ordered the small breakfast. Maybe she thought she wasn't going to get a tip and she is correct. She didn't get a nickel. And if my cappuccino got any colder I would have sworn it was an ice cap. YOU KNOW WHO WE ARE....WE BROUGHT IN MY SISTER N BROTHER IN LAW FROM HIXON LAST WEEK. SORRY WE EXPECTED A WAITRESS...

My husband and I have been to the Vernon location many times, then one day we went in and was seated right away as it was not busy we decided on what we wanted and waited for waiter to take our order. We waited like 15 min then he took an order from a gentleman that came in after us we were siting there with menus closed waiting. We finally got served and when our order came it was wrong my eggs were not cooked and hashbrowns were not how we asked them to be, my husband's sausages were not butterflied like asked. Then had to wait for toast as they forgot to make them like really, then when toast came it was dripping in butter it was so gross and guess what the rest of our food was cold when things were brought back we didn't eat much. Like most people we like to eat our breakfast all together and with eachother. To top it all off we got our full bill no discount of any sort for the terrible service and food preparation . This experience was rude and very unprofessional will never visit again And as I have hurd personally no point talking to the management at Vernon location they stick buy there employees even if it is there...

Very Dissapointed.

My wife and I go to Coras about once a month as a treat. The past couple times there were some small issues but today was really rough.

Brought our newborn with us in their carrier and waitress wanted to seat us at a table rather than a booth. Had to ask for a booth to which she did clean one but forgot to give us utensils. ordered food but the crepe I ordered came with strawberries which it shouldn’t have. I was originally just going to point it out to the waitress and eat it but after I said something she just took my plate and brought it to the back where I heard her tell the chef that it was made incorrectly. she came back with the plate and all the chef did was take out the strawberries instead of making a new crepe (a food safe violation). As well as my original meal went to the back and came back which is a second food safe violation. on top of that there were issues with the quality of my wife’s order (although mine was good after all the issues were resolved)

Overall - just a rough experience and serious concern to whether food safe practices are a priority at...
