Used to order from this business any time the need for pizza arose. Pizza was always fresh and tasty. I say "used to" because after being rudely hung up on this morning when calling to cancel an online order I will no longer spend money here. Frequent this establishment with caution, I hope you don't face the same experience.

Dec.30, 2024: Phoned the Vernon location to confirm their hours for New Years day; was told they open at 11am.
Jan.1, 2025: 10:30am Placed an on-line order (via app) for a couple medium pizzas for pick up at the local Vernon store. Was surprised when the earliest pickup time was 12:15pm (busy perhaps). I was timing a pickup by family members returning home at 11:30am. They could arrive early and wait, and if it's too long, cancel and seek other options. They show up and it's closed with a handwritten sign on the door stating opening at 12:00pm.
PH National operations needs to fix the following: There's apparently no way to cancel and order by calling the main call centre, or within the app or online. You must contact the local store, which is challenging when they're closed.
Called the PH national number again and asked for the stores voicemail so I could leave a message to cancel the pizza order, I wanted to catch them before they started preparing. They said they would put me through directly to the store manager. The phone was answered, in haste, by an unknown employee. I gave my name and stated I needed to cancel an order. I offered to give the order number but they found it and said it will take 3-5 business days to process. I said that's fine, and asked for their name. I say it's an unknown employee because they refused to give me their name and hung up on me. They simply claimed I was rude and hung up. My guests arrived in time to hear the end of this conversation and were all shocked. I was simply wanting a name in case there was an issue with the reversing of my credit card charge.
You know, I get it, opening times are stressful and on new years day probably more so. If this was in fact the manager I spoke to that's pretty appalling. Again, I couldn't get a name as they refused: "You don't need to know my name" were the exact words. I ask for names in case days later there's a problem I have a name to reference.

family order from this branch and had one of if not the worst expirence with a delivery driver to date. The driver didn't speak English or use Google maps to find are house. 30 minutes after placing are order we had ou4 first of 3 phone calls with the drivers child (driver didn't speak any English) claiming they where infront of our house and was asked to go to the outside. I did to see anyone outside and explained that they where outside the wrong house. Which in turn was meet with a no we are at the right place. They then turned around and went back to the restaurant. I called the management and explained that they had gone to the wrong house and explained the road and cars make and color in the driveway. I finished the call off by saying I'd wait outside for them to arrive.15 minutes from then the 2nd call came through with the exact same results. Claiming they where at the house and while I stayed outside the whole time waiting. They followed up by saying I was not outside waiting. They then drove back to the restaurant and the same situation happened yet again. The 3rd call came almost 2 hours after the original order was placed (we live 5 minutes away) Fed up at this point I went into exact details on where I lived and gave specific introductions on exactly how to get to the house, they could not follow simple driving instructions and forced me to walk over a block away and guide them too the house a few blocks away. They had no idea how to follow street signs and where fighting me about where I lived the whole time. By the time we got are food most of it was cold and management would not return my calls to them to complain. Read morePizza Hut was my 120th eatery in Vernon on my quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon.
I have ordered delivery through Pizza Hut three or four times over the past ten years in Vernon, and it never goes well.
In contrast to the other chains, Pizza Huts across Canada typically are the most expensive even with their coupons, and have the highest deliveries and debit service charge prices, and the taste is always disappointing.
Pizza Huts here are terrible in contrast to the ones in Europe where you can do All You Can Eat buffets for 12 Euros.
However, I was very pleasantly surprised by my dine in experience here. It was my first time dining in Vernon at Pizza Hut.
I bought a personal Veggie Lovers $5.75 after tax. I was told it would be ten minutes. I came back nine minutes later and it was already done.
There was also an electronic carry out board which was cool to see.
The dine in taste was slightly better than most other Pizza Hut in the world. It's not awesome, but it definitely exceeded my expectations.
Staff was super friendly and really know what they are doing. They don't control coupons or quality of ingredients. They ace everything that is under their control.
If you just finished watching a movie at the theatre this summer, come eat here inside instead of Original Joe's. Trust me.
Avoid doing delivery, though.
