This is the newest location I think so I loved that we didn’t have to wait. We actually drove by the line at James Bay and came here. Our server was excellent. She joked with us, made us feel special and was super on the ball with all the regular server things. The food is always exceptional. The Caesars too. I posted photos of my brunch and all my friends from my past uvic life commented how much they miss eating at Floyd’s. one comment came as far as Australia who has the best brunch game ever. In my university days, I once ordered two breakfasts because I couldn’t decide. That was probably like my entertainment budget for the week. I’m just trying to educate you on what Floyd’s is in case you don’t know. I don’t want to make the line longer but everyone should get to enjoy it. This location even has a wee patio although it looks at a parking lot. Perhaps some palm trees or something could help the outdoor ambiance although it’s so great who even cares about that.

If this is the Homer, the actual Homer J. Simpson would've said "D'oh!" because of how sad this Benny looked and tasted. The Hollandaise sauce tastes and looked like hot frothed 🧈, the chicken is ridiculously salty. The medium poached eggs are somewhat okay, but next time if there were to be a next time, I'd order it lightly poached instead. A co-worker of mine was kindly taking orders for the office. Personally I would order the 420 (personal favorite when I used to dine at the former Yates and Quadra location I missed so much) but had to resort to an alternative because one of the coworkers has a severe seafood allergy even if it's airborne. I do know that the staff are friendly on the phone and are very attentive, otherwise this takeout meal was very disappointing. Hopefully I'll be able to dine in sometime in the near future and give a more accurate review but for now I need to what I received and tasted at face value.

Lucky enough to try the new Floyd’s Diner on Gorge today for brunch with my parents. 💕 Love taking them to nostalgic places like Floyd’s, with so much memorabilia and photos around 🎶. The diner has a really great family feel. We had one ‘Listen To Me While I’m Talkin’ To Ya’, a ‘McFloydfin’ and a Cajun chicken burger for me. Loved that it was tagged “Just enough Cajun space so it doesn’t become a jerk”. 🌶️ Truth! We’ll definitely be back for brunch again. The service was impeccable as was the HUGE welcome both on entering and exiting the restaurant. See you soon, Floyd’s! 👋🏼

Oh golly gosh—what a FUN place to be!! The diner is off-the-charts fabulous! There are so many neat pictures everywhere, and PINK! The whole place is drenched in pink and yellow and pictures ! it’s like walking into a glittery dream! Of goodness 💖

And don’t even get me started on the shirts hilarious! The little sayings on the back had me giggling non-stop. I swear, I need one in every color!

I got a front-row seat to dish central and wow, everything coming out of the kitchen looked SO GOOD. I was practically drooling watching plates go by. And then wait for it, I saw something called a Mahoney! I’ve never in my life seen anything so wild and unique! And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better… BAM—a Mahoney Caesar! 😍

I watched one of the fabulous employees in pink strut out like an absolute boss, rocking two Mahoney Caesars stacked high with all kinds of goodies—lettuce? Bacon? Mystery magic?? They looked to die for. I’m 100% ordering one next time I come!

Oh—and my food? A-MA-ZING. That yammy bowl was delish, I wish I could’ve tried everything on the menu. Seriously. Every. Single. Thing.

10/10 would come back just for the vibes and the pink alone! 💅✨

I seriously wish i could rate this...
