Apoorva’s Indian Restaurant at Wasaga Beach offers an authentic and heartwarming Indian dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the aroma of freshly prepared dishes set the stage for a delightful meal.

We started with the chole bhature, which truly stood out. The chole had a homely, authentic flavor—rich, well-spiced, and reminiscent of a comforting homemade meal rather than a typical restaurant-style dish. The bhature were perfectly cooked—soft, fresh, and, most importantly, not overly oily, making them an absolute delight.

The parotta was another highlight—beautifully crispy on the outside yet soft inside, pairing wonderfully with the chole. It had the perfect balance of texture and taste, making each bite satisfying.

To complement the meal, we enjoyed a cup of chai, which was aromatic, soothing, and full of authentic Indian flavors. We also tried the gulab jamun, which, while decent, didn’t quite reach the high standards set by the rest of the meal.

I recently attended an event (scheduled from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM) that was catered by this restaurant, and I was very disappointed with the food arrangements. The non-veg counter opened around 12:30, and I received my first serving at around 1 PM, which was just an average portion of biryani. When I returned around 1:30 for a second serving, I was informed that the non veg food was finished. I was asked to wait 10 minutes for the next batch, but it actually took 45 minutes to be served. To my disappointment, the “next batch” was only plain biryani mixed with Chicken 65, served in much smaller portions than before.

When I went back again, I was told that non-veg was completely over and was instead given veg biryani mixed with Chicken 65.
