Saturday Jan 2nd 2021, 2:40pm. I ordered in person at the River Rd, Wasaga Beach Subway. While ordering, a young girl entered the store, did not order anything, and requested the bathroom to be unlocked. The employee told her NO, due to Covid, the bathroom was closed. The girl pleaded for the employee to make an exception, and was then allowed by the employee to use the male bathroom. Apparently this bathroom was unlocked and for employee use only. I have to say I am shocked and appalled at the absolute disregard the employee showed for Covid 19 rules and protocols. I have visited this Subway many many many times, and have never seen this employee before. She KNEW she wasn't supposed to allow members of the public to use the bathroom, she said so herself. Why did she then allow this woman to use the men's bathroom if she knew it was wrong ?? I am now really hesitant to visit this Subway location in the future. I will also be telling all my family and friends that due to the store's lack of attention to Covid-19 protocols, they should avoid it completely. While Ontario Covid numbers set new records each and every day, this Wasaga Subway on River Road is throwing caution to the wind, and completely disregarding safety. It's quite clear after what I witnessed , that the River Rd location does not care about the well being of the community that supports it. Quite frankly it's disgusting, and they should be ashamed of themselves. I contacted their customer relations and just received a templated response. On top of that, the employee was improperly wearing her mask. He nose was exposed, and while speaking to me, her mask was slipping down exposing her mouth. DISGUSTING ! I definitely won't be back if they can't take Covid protocols...
Read moreI have no idea that 627 River Rd East could have any positive reviews. As a local resident, been going since “Rob” original owner opened in the beginning, Aprx 20 plus years ago. The new owners in last 5-6 years, totally try to hose you. Only going to give one experience that I’ve had recently after not going back for some years. ( I received a gift card) thinking maybe only me?? I decided to give it another try,,, hey for me it was free. What do I have to loose??? I order 2 Philly Stake n Cheese. Now I would assume that cheese is a given. But NOOO!! Sprinkled a tiny bit on, when I asked for a tiny bit more?? It was going to be “an extra ad on” really!!! I have been in some okay Subway restaurants. And some downright terrible locations. This little one, located in Wasaga Beach. Mainly serves locals seeking a quick meal. Always Fresh is Always True at this Subway. They consistently staff this location with employees who are both skilled at what they do as well as friendly towards customers.
