Ordered food over the phone And she hung up without telling me the total, called me back right away, I assumed to tell me the total because she hung up on me in the middle of me asking , but no she just wanted to know if it was cash or credit, then when I said cash she was about to hangup again! But I blurted out so how much is that?? She took about 5 minute's and all I heard was a calculator going, "24.24" she said , sounds about right , 1 hour and 10 minutes later still nothing, I call them and she repeats my address and assures me my food is on the way. Not even 5 min later I get the food, I live 5 min away( I'm just lazy tonight)I hand the driver 30$ and tell him to keep the change 6 $ tip not bad .. she calls me 45 min later and tells me she didn't charge me enough and either I pay or it comes out of the drivers wage. So obviously I tell her to send the driver back, which I thought was just wrong I already waited 1 hour and 10 min I was on a date as well😕awkward, anyway she shows up and takes the 4$ extra she was so diligent to get , I'll never order from...
Read moreGot take out tonight. Lo mein, fried rice, chicken balls and general tao chicken. Everything was delicious. The chicken fried rice is more "plain" than other places but has WAY more good flavours cooked in. Lo Mein was cooked perfectly and the veggies in it was great. Chicken balls have good sized chicken chunks and nice balance of crispy and soft batter. General Tao chicken was some of the best we've had. First time trying Uncle Mings and will return! Waited about 15 minutes for our order and the gentlemen who took our order inside, brought it right out to our vehicle when it was ready! Great service, good sized portions and delicious dinner. Yes the building looks run down buts it's just older. Everything I seen looks clean and the food is great. Great dinner, and looking forward to leftovers...
Read moreFirst off, I'm not one to post a bad revue as I feel that it seems everyone complains and no one compliments when it's good. Then I tried Uncle Ming's, I ordered 2 entrees, Cantonese Chow mein and General Tao Chicken plus some steamed rice. I was told that I needed to give them 1 1/2 hours to prepare my order for pick up, not delivery, pick up. When I finally got it, I found that the chow mein was decent, but the chicken tasted industrial and not made in house. The oil it was fried in really needed changing, hours later i still had that bitter taste in my mouth. It seems that their version of General Tao chicken is breaded chicken bites served with sweet and sour sauce that they add chili flakes to. I will not be going back. Too bad, I was so hoping to find a decdent place...
