Burger Factory Waterloo — Restaurant in Waterloo

We’ve been coming here for a few years now. At the start it was good. Then we had one incident where the burger was undercooked so we took it back and got it corrected. The staff was shocked and said that’s never happened and gave us a new burger immediately. Lately we’ve just been getting orders of chicken tenders with fries. They used to be $10.99 and are now 11.99. Before the chicken was large smooth type batter and lots of meat. A few months back, the girl asked me which type chicken tenders I wanted and I didn’t understand. They did give me the original one but they were under cook with slimy bits in it - again I took it back and got all new orders. Tonight I try again. This time, I confirm, I want fresh fries, and I ask about the two tenders and was informed there was one size only now, a medium size but you get 4 vs 3, the large no longer available. So I say okay. Silly me didn’t check before I left. They are very small, look your typical frozen chicken fingers. Very disappointing. We won’t be going back. It’s unfortunate the places we’ve found we like are cheaping out on quality. I want to buy halal but this is haram - the price is ridiculous $40 for 3 orders - could have gone to...

Burger factory? More like burger flopery. Severely disappointed to be honest. I’m a student at Laurier and wanted a sweet treat after doing work and I am really upset. I went with my friends as a reward and instead I was just disappointed. We got 3 funnel cakes all which were a thumbs down. The first one was supposed to be a caramel funnel cake and got fudge instead. The second one was an Oreo funnel cake which just had whole chunks of Oreos and nothing else… just funnel cake and Oreo. Kinda expected like fudge or domain for the Oreos to stick on but that’s okay my fault. Got a milkshake as well that was advertised to come with whip cream and did not. I asked about it and they said no. lol. There was no cutlery or napkins in the bag and I had to ask for them. Kinda upset about it. I will say the milkshake was good tho so that’s good. Fair warning the funnel cake alone is 9.99 and toppings are all extra which is totally okay but advertised online differed. i won’t be saving this place as my sweet treat place anymore. Soooo, I came here and stood for ten minutes while the guy just didn’t acknowledge me, I said excuse me, and he told me one second I’m busy. He appeared to be making a single Uber order sandwich, but his screen was blank so maybe it was for himself? He then ignored me for another five minutes. I wanted to try the food but the guy working was kinda super rude. My girlfriends order from pennys chicken was cooked and served before this guy acknowledged me so I just left and got food somewhere else.

The restaurant also looks very dirty, there’s grease stains on the walls, food on the floor. The doors are all open, which is awesome in a town with a rat problem.

I would’ve given no stars if I could. Can’t speak for the food cause I never got the chance to order. There are sit down restaurants in town that could have food to my table faster than this guy took to say hi.
