Visited Saturday 4pm Plenty of City parking free for 2 hours nearby. This is our first visit here. The Copper Branch is a chain of restaurants that is essentially a vegan fast food restaurant with no table service. It seats approximately 30. No WiFi. Very clean! There's a good variety of menu items. You order at the counter when you walk in, pay and then the food is brought to your table. We ordered: Chico Salad - fresh shredded ingredients with sprouted mung beans together with a very tasty balsamic dressing. BBQ flatbread - very flavourful, with vegetables and a very good vegan feta cheese, probably one of the very best we've ever tried. Galaxy Burger - it was a very delicious portobello mushroom cap with grilled zucchini and a tasty sauce. The vegan cheese complimented the burger and the bun was also good. Black bean burger - very tasty! Comes with lettuce, tomato and a sauce with a bun all that complement each other. Sweet potato cubes - they were very good but also very basic. They definitely require more seasoning to make them poop. We got some hot sauce for dipping because they lacked some flavour. A plus is that the potato skins were still on. Copper Branch organic tea in house brand - although the tea is very good, the price is too high $3.75 for a cup. Copper branch gives environmentally friendly takeout containers. But unfortunately they still use little plastic cups for their salad dressings and dips. There are two gender-neutral bathrooms, with one having a change table for babies; very clean.
So the final question is, would we return? Yes. We look forward to trying other...

Copper Branch proves people who think vegan food is boring completely wrong with their deliciously unique menu options! I wish I was able to try everything on the menu, but I am overall satisfied with what I did order: Mini Sized Aristotle Bowl (lettuce base and Carrot Keftedes as protein), Black Bean Burger, Chili Fries, and Burrito Branchero. Everything apart from the Chili Fries was perfect! The Chili Fries were honestly good as well, but the fries tasted underbaked, and the taste wasn't the best. The Aristotle Bowl might be my new favorite meal because of the burst of flavors and textures! The Carrot Keftede was very tasty, and I wish they had added more than just one in the bowl. The Black Bean Burger was great, with a soft bun, well cooked patty, and flavorful vegetables. The Burrito Branchero tasted very fresh, and also had many textures!
The service is friendly, and fairly quick. The restaurant's ambience is nice, but the table we sat at was sticky, and some of the chairs had crumbs on them. Thankfully, the cutlery/dishes were clean, but unlike most restaurants, we were not given any water. The portions are of a good size, and the prices of the food are fitting.
This restaurant offering healthy but tasty food is great for anyone, vegan or non-vegan! I am definitely revisiting to try all the other interesting...
Read moreAn ALL vegetarian cuisine in the Kitchener/Waterloo area with abundant potential. A place that deserves to be visited and be known well. The atmosphere of the place is inviting. The food is very good and well priced. When you visit once, you will return again. Yes, it is that kind of place. You find friendly and relaxed customers. The staff is corteous and you feel comfortable with them. All the food was excellent; however, I thought the use of some spices was needed for a more flavourful experience. I was definitely happy with this choice 100%.
Here are some of the foods we consumed: Aztec bowl, based noodles, toffu cubes & and chili regular ( from one of the bills). Regrettably, I can not match the names fully, but you can see the quality and workmanship on the dishes.
BTW, their coffee us excellent!!! (No acidity) The other drink is a Chai Tea. I also remember seeing well priced beer (in case you are looking for one).
Do visit this location and enjoy it. We did.
Kudos to all staff, 2 ladies, and a gentleman.
