WORST! I wanted to share my recent experience with a coupon offer from Eggholic that I found quite frustrating. The coupon stated two wraps for $10, valid until March 31. However, when I attempted to redeem it, the staff informed me it wasn't valid. I don't understand how a coupon that is still valid can be denied.

The employee initially asked me to pay the full price, when I denied , then he offered two wraps for $12 instead. When I insisted on the original offer, he mentioned needing to consult a manager. Like come on you are making me feel wrong of the valid offer I have in hand in front of all your customers. Worst service. This felt unnecessary, I have an offer in hand and he wants to ask his manager, who is this stupid that too staying in Canada?. Ultimately, he offered a $5 discount, which felt condescending.

The main issue here isn't about the money—it's about trust and customer service. As a business, it's crucial to honor your promotions and maintain credibility with customers. I believe situations like this can lead to a loss of loyal patrons.

Ihope this feedback contributes to improving your customer experience. I could mention the name of the staff member involved, but I prefer to keep that private. I am so so frustrated from Eggholic being their loyal customer.

Disappointed and Misled

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience. If your business doesn’t intend to honor the promotions it advertises, then those offers shouldn’t be displayed at all. The sign clearly read, “Wednesday: One item per person from $10”—yet when we arrived as a group, we were told the deal doesn't apply to group visits. That restriction wasn’t listed anywhere on the sign or explained in advance.

This kind of misleading advertising creates a poor impression. It feels like the offer was designed to lure people in under false pretenses, only to deny them the deal upon arrival. We were genuinely looking forward to a good meal and fair service, but instead we were turned away from the very promotion that brought us there.

It’s disappointing to see such a lack of transparency and accountability. This experience felt unfair and disrespectful. As customers, we expect clear communication and honest practices—not vague rules and last-minute exceptions.
