Wonderful pizza. Best in town, I would say but little overpriced. Also just like many pizzas it is taste when fresh. Once it sits on a counter for few hours it becomes slightly above an average pizza around while the price stays like for premium slices. I like this location though and my suggestion overall would be to use separate plate for each slice instead stacking reheated ones on a single plate, this might be a reason some people mentioned dissatisfaction. Another thing - "dry slices" - I believe two separate heaters would solve it. The unique way of preparing in extremely hot oven makes for amazing slices when fresh, just baked. When needs to be reheated, however, placing them in the hot oven does 2 undesirable things: when for a short time - toppings and cheese, everything except crust is cold. When placed for a while to ensure everything heats up, crust becomes very dry. I believe reheating should be done in something not as hot as baking oven. I believe this would solve many satisfaction issues with...
Read moreAwesome pizza, although taste slightly gets hindered as it gets stale, but this is true to every pizza, so I what I say pertains to fresh just baked and within half an hour sitting on the counter: Cheese is wonderful and flavourful mozzarella, likely Saputo. Tomato sauce has hint of zesty in it, just like most pizza sauces. The crust however is special - the flavour reminds of grandma's pirozhki (East Ukrainian equivalent of perogies - the only difference they are deep-fried instead of broiled). I believe extra-hot oven provides this smokey flavor and making unique crust that is similar to my grandma's bakery specialties (pirozhki, chebureki and home baked bread). Definitely recommend this location, especially shortly before noon while most...
Read moreWorst pizza I have ever eaten.
It's been about a decade since I was in here and I thought for sure it would have gone out of business by now (not sure who is keeping them in business).
I remember ordering a slice and a fruitopia/Snapple and being charged over $4 for drink and over $4 for the slice. It came out to around $10....the slice was so dry and didnt have nearly enough sauce. The cheese was dried out, and over all the slice was revolting. I went with two friends and neither I or them have gone back since our visit in 07 or 08, nor do I intend on ever going back. Fratellos still holds the crown for the worst and most expensive slice of pizza I...
